Guess the dont the time or maybe no space to grow their own produce. We dont eat much commercial jar food, so I save I get through out the yr and what people bring to the swap group. I bought a few smaller jars from the op shop cause I needed but I usually have enough. Makes it expensive when you have to buy the jars. I bought 1 doz lids on ebay, so I have spares for when I need them.
Had a win today, sold a heap of tomatoes with orders for more. I dont need any more for cooking just a cpl a day for eating, so it was good to get rid of them. Hubs ripped out a huge zucchini plant yesterday, it just kept growing huge leaves and not producing anything worthwhile so into the compost tank it has gone, no free loaders in this house lol

Happy Birthday to the cutie, Kopes.
Hope your nephew stays safe around those horrible fires.
No rain over this side of town.
I see Dargo is making it's own thunderstorms, which in turn lights more fires.
Lyh, any jars I've given away, I've asked them to return when they're finished.
So I hope not to have to buy any next year.

Cooled down to 31c-ash etc all over the cars and bin lids etc outside.
Stawka-mate had a great dane-harmless-but would put its front legs
and head over the high fence to the kindergarden next door and the
kids were frightened..lol-he moved to a bush block after some dramas from council.
Fading away-just hope all those fires dont get worse overnight...

We had a brindle Great Dane about 35 years ago.
He was just a puppy, but huuuuuge. Only 5 months old and he shoved through when someone went out the front door.
Bowled them over and took off galloping.
Sadly he only got to the road where he was hit.
We went back to having labradors.
