If they kill these men they are as bad as Isis. They are as bad as any terrorist organisation.
Yes, I will tell anyone I know that it is wrong to tour in a country that accepts the death penaly for totally reformed people. So many Indonesians have been asked whether they should be killed and they say yes.
There is a tobacco-related death about every 28 minutes in Australia, adding up to more than 50 deaths each day

A report released by the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre reveals that a total of 500 Australians aged 15-54 died due to accidental opioid overdoses in 2008 โ the latest year for which final figures are available
http://ndarc.med.unsw.edu.au/news/heroin-and-other-opioid-related-deaths-rise
Note...This last figure (of 500) is for all opioids, of which heroin is only one.

No, the parents haven't done anything illegal by giving birth to babies.
Parents don't go to jail when their son/daughter is convicted of a crime with a jail sentence.
Tobacco manufacturers are different to that. Aim to get people addicted to their product, the use of what they sell has negative health effects including death.

We'll probably soon have the old packets back and advertising to go with it once Robb signs away our right to decide.
I seriously don't think he should be in the job.

And welcome to the poor analogy thread.
It was about the up coming executions in Bali. Not anymore.

Here is a list of the other people getting executed. One of them got done for 50grams worth of drugs. That is not that much I thought. Anyway here's the list:

That's a point too,isn't it?
Surely we don't expect Indonesia to spare two criminals because Australia wants them too, while letting the other 7 be executed?

Should the parents of Chan and his co-accused be shot for bringing criminals into our world?
I was replying to this post poddster.. not making flippant remarks about indulgence and finer things in a serious thread about the execution of two Australians.

Here is a list of things that took up my time yesterday:
a) took the dog for a walk
b) tried once again to get an answer from Australia Post about a missing parcel
c) had a banana sandwich for lunch
d) bought a piece of corned beef for tea
e) prepared the corned beef according to Hewie's recipe
f) had tea and took the dog for another walk
g) pumped away at the keyboard for a couple of hours
h) settled down on the lounge to watch Parramatta v Manly on TV
i) watched a bit more TV and then retired
Notice how I never planned to acquire, take, distribute, retail, sample or in any other way have an encounter with illegal drugs be it 50gms or 5kg. I never featured on the news nor did I have any TV or radio station beating my door down seeking to interview me.
I have zero interest in illegal drugs and I have zero interest in people who deal in drugs no matter the quantity.
