I don't understand why you start a topic about rights when you don't want to hear about rights. Natural rights, God given rights, the US bill of rights only make note of what we already have as humans, you are all humans over there aren't you?, well, all except for the  kangaroos and venomous snakes, Natural holster, if any country should have gun rights its where the kangaroos live. lol they should be armed.. They can properly holster their weapon/s....

But in any case, i'm just responding to the topic, the topic is about rights

That poster didn't start the topic and this thread is more about attacking other Aussies than it is about discussing rights.

Apparently all the people who are BANGING on about RIGHTS are dole bludgers, parents, pensioners, disabled people, the indigenous peoples and the OP thinks they should all be forced into the army or some form of slave labour. to earn the pittance of an allowance they claim from the government.

Which begs the question, just who are these people who are banging on about rights and where do they do their banging?

The only banging about anything is the OP who should be grateful that there are such things as human rights and UN refugee convention.  Who do you think gave him the right to sit in a foreign country for 8 years being supported by UN and taxpayers of that country until Australia rescued them.  Now he wants to deny people the same rights. 

These threads just show what sort of person some people are.

I remember when I first met somebody on disability pension back in late 1960s.  She was a mentally ill teenager, sexually abused all her life, in and out of psychiatric unit.  But in good times she did not look as if there was anything wrong with her.  Some people commented in the vein.  All i could think of was 'OMG how could anybody survive on $15 a week'; I was "struggling" on about $120 (and my husband earned similar amount).  Our rent for small very basic 2 bedroom terrace in Paddington was $60 per week.

What you don't or refuse to understand that a topic about rights in Australia is about rights in Australia not a foreign country like yours. Our laws are not applicable in your country and none of yours are applicable in any other country. As for Natural rights, God given rights, the US bill of rights appling every where in the world, well all I can say dream on. We definetly don't have a gun culture like yours but we do have gun control so the murders like Martin Bryant,  Wade Frankum and Julian Knight can not walk into a super market and buy what ever weapons they fancy
