A man loses his wife and the impact of that and the attempt to cope with the lost causes him to be evicted from his home.
Evicted After Wife Died, Now Homeless in Venice Beach
59,727 views•Dec 2, 2020834K subscribersSimba (street name) met his wife fishing. I love that. Sadly, Simba's wife was very sick from complications with diabetes. She needed a kidney transplant. Simba's wife was on the transplant list at USC Medical Center, but while she was waiting for a donor, her health got worse. The emotional stress of being her caregiver was hard enough; when his wife died, Simba became severely depressed. He started to self medicate with marijuana to help him sleep. This was four years ago, and people's views of marijuana were much different then. Today, it probably would not even be an issue, but Simba's landlord used his cannabis use to evict him

What has being African American go to do with anything?
Are you suggesting that an African American is somehow weaker willed than any other race or should received special attention?
I can assure you that my 82 year old father was devastated when he lost Mum after nearly 60 years together but he got through it and lasted another 10 years.
Why would you come across like that lyndal? You know very well what I meant! African Americans are treated poorly in the USA and have to deal with systemic racism, some on a daily basis.

I do not know what you meant....nowhere did you say that there was racism or discrimination involved.....just a man who turned to drugs to cope with life and obviously broke the rules imposed by his landlord.

I hope he bounces back. The problem is that the US is run by greedy corporations with elected (so-called) mouth pieces who are powerless to change the bad situation for the suffering-class even if they wanted to.
I hear you but how can a 65 year old Afican American man with depression lingering due to the loss of his wife bounce back?
Dig deep. Your concept of this man is only in your head. You may be introjecting and judging his potential to dig deep by your potential. He may have reserve strengths buried inside his sadness at the moment. Don't give up hope for him.

It's nothiong to do with my potential or what you suggest it to be D.

The worst of the worst in humanity! The most filthy lies and immorality is exemplified in every onne of it's presidents of the past 30 plus years.
Man .... the crooked Nixon even shines above these pigs.

Lets hope he doesn't hate his country as much as you seem to. Lets hope he can re-gather his strength and his faith in his own abilities, despite the challenges he may confront.

I don't know why you're putting a negative spin on what I'm saying and suggesting I'm saying something additional to what I have said. That's incorrect! And I don't hate the US. I despise the corruption and I feel sickened at the low-life political figures who willingly betray their people. I'm saddened that the people of the US have been so distracted that they have had the wool pulled over their eyes yet again. And I'm disgusted that Murdoch and other media gods destroyed the last great hope for the US, Ron Paul's chances of being presidents by "Media Blackout of Ron Paul" . I just like fairness. That doesn't amount to hatred!
So let's see if this homeless gentleman at age 65 can reclaim at least some of what he once had.
A good film to watch is .... Michael Moore's Sicko and Capitalism: A Love Story.

Ok then, you don't hate the US.
"The US is a joke, systemic racism, corrupt Presidents, the most filthy lies and immorality, pigs, sickened by the low-life, and betrayers". Sorry, I must have misinterpreted what you wrote.

Yes you must have misinterpreted. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. These people who have betrayed their country have turned it in to a joke. There are good people in the US and what's left of the land is still good.

What do you mean you will give me the benefit of the doubt? What are you implying?

Not implying anything really.
Ok then, you don't think I hate the US.
"Lets hope he doesn't hate his country as much as you seem to"
Sorry, I must have misinterpreted what you wrote as well.
All cool.
