How do I set my preferences so when I go to a subject the 'latest' post comes up instead of the beginning please?

You just click on the page number below the tread title or the little > arrow at the end of the page numbers. Thats what I do anyway 🙂

w hat az said, but I chose 'newest first'...Im not sure if theres a difference?

I think it  has a mind of its own. 

I have my settings like that and it only seems to work in some threads?

Just lately, whenever I click into the photo thread (and others) I am taken to page 1 even though I have been there a gazillion times.

Youcandoit, I tried the newest first setting but it did my head in. I feel like I am reading backwards, which is okay for the photo thread I guess but not all.

use default should be oldest first them tick the box that says go to first unread post.
