What do you do that is constructive? 

Do any poster's feel like their c&p will change people's minds?

Is this place an arena for the people with nothing else to do? 

Will these thread's help anyone?

Personally for me, some people do their party of choice no favours.

Hmmm the political threads I used to read but avoid, but at some point things were posted that I really wanted to respond to, so I did & now I just say what I think. Some threads interest me more than others so some threads I post on and others I don't.

I don't believe C&P's or any one person can change anyone's mind, people make up their own minds about how they feel about things.

Lately I feel pretty passionate about our current govt. And I am passionately against live animal export. I've had a number of emails and chats with my local member about it, so I would say yes, I actively do something

The political threads are sometimes quite nasty & sometimes very funny but IMO there's nothing wrong with people having an opinion and discussing it

secondly I have no idea about politics. I dont know what all the left and right stuff even means. I have tried to read some of the political threads in the past to maybe learn something but they seriously make no sense to me. It seems everyone except each poster is wrong, Everyone should listen to just that one poster. 

I really dont get why people are so passionate about certain parties. in my eyes they are all bad. But my knowledge is limited.

I dont bother reading the political threads now, they seem very argumentative and childish
