Its not just on the TV and a matter of changing channels Joe, people start threads about it, its on the Radio its every where and its so uninteresting

Whilst I am not a big fan of Big Brother I might say that there are a multitude of political threads, most of them against the Labor party on this discussion forum and I for one am sick and tired of seeing them all. They all say the same thing, the vast majority of them are started and commented on by the same people.

I cannot fathom why. Are they trying to indoctrinate people who are supporters of the present government into turning against them? Do they believe that the more anti Kevin Rudd {and previously to that anti Julia Gillard} discussion threads that are going, the greater chance they have to change our political opinions?

So why not have a Big Brother thread? Or a thread about The Block? Or a thread about True Blood? Even a thread about A Current Affair or ACA? Anything as a change from the rantings of those who are so against the present Government of Australia. I am all for free speech but not when it is the same thing being repeated over and over again, and much of it copied and pastes from various other sites.

I shall step off my soap box now and return to my knitting.

Start a knitting thread! I don't think we have ever had one on the boards...?

last year when they bought it back you'd thought it would be better somehow after a few years off. Nope same boring **bleep**.

Here's a fun game. If you had to choose posters on this forum that would be interesting to watch, who would it be?

That's easy - crystal!

Silverfaun would be entertaining on TV too.

And who was that South American chick that thought she was the ants pants? She would be good to see locked in a room full of sane people.

Re: Big Brother 2013

Unfortunately with my knitting know how, or should I say lack of it, a knitting thread would be full of my comments with expletives and *%! in place of cuss words.

I knew there was a reason why I stopped knitting things many years ago. With a grandchild on the way I thought I would attempt an outfit however suffice to say it has not been easy.

Methinks I shall simply crotchet a granny rug instead. Around and around in a square with the same old stitches.

Much less strain on the grey matter.
