Fake flyer distributed to residents before street shut down for lavish wedding of local mayor

A fake flyer was distributed to residents in a west Sydney suburb before the street was shut down without council approval to make way for a lavish wedding of a local deputy mayor.

Property developer and Auburn deputy mayor Salim Mehajer left Lidcombe locals and police seething yesterday when he summoned a fleet of four helicopters, a seaplane, and more than $50 million worth of luxury vehicles for his wedding procession, which was attended by almost 1000 guests.

Residents on Frances Street received a self-proclaimed "important notice" in their letterboxes before the extravagant affair, which claimed to have approval for the shutdown. 

"Dear Frances Street Residence, please work with our traffic control team to have NO vehicles parked on Frances Street Lidcombe between 14th August 2014 from 12pm till 10pm on 15th August 2015," the notice stated.

."Dear Frances Street Residence, please work with our traffic control team to have NO vehicles parked on Frances Street Lidcombe between 14th August 2014 from 12pm till 10pm on 15th August 2015," the notice stated.

"As such ALL entry into Frances street from Maud Street and Edith Street will be blocked, only residents parking in their properties will be allowed.

"All entry will be blocked TOTALLY on 15th August 9AM till 2PM. Roadwork hats

will be left on the road, any cars left or parked illegally during this time will be towed and removed by police as per DA approval."

Yep that was my first thought  ....where the heck can he get that kind of money? .... property development  was not my first thought  though .

His father did 3 years for fraud  so interesting family . I thought they looked like a hoard of pimps myself  but i guess to each their own but he may be out of a job soon as people are mad over street closure ect

The wedding trail video show them meeting at University, but they haven't studied there.  Aysha was previously April and was a beautician from Dapto.   Probably more likelty they meet when he went there to get his eyebrows done.

Council meeting on Wednesday night, like to be a fly on the wall.

The money? where does it come from? why did he have criminal outlaw bikies riding shotgun.

Unexplained wealth, it needs to be looked at, laws should be updated and creeps like this man shown the door and the money confiscated. His father is a felon and we don't know what else.
