i drove a 200 kg chopper cos i have ducks disease. i have naturally rather big muscles (peasant stock) compared to other women but i could hardly pick up the bike when i dropped it.
If it's around 300 Kgs then you only need to lift around a quarter of that to put the bike upright.
I had a chopped honda CB 750 and I never had a problem picking it up,(they are a bit over 200 kgs and the
six inch extension made it more awkward).
I weigh 73kg and certainly don't have big muscles,(just adequate),
one should be able to pick up the bike if it drops, there is no point in having a bike you cannot pick up.
also i had a look at the performance. i had a yamaha 535. i also had a book with all the stats about the yamaha choppers. i read it. turned out my bike was the fastest cos the bigger ones are to bloody heavy to be any faster than mine. mine exceeded 180km/h on the autobahn downhill.
I had to do 180 once to pass an idiot trying to play chicken,(it was on the GS 750 which was an ex cop bike)
There was never any trouble picking up the others I've had,(Yamaha TX 650,XS 650,Suzuki GS 750 and the last
one I sold two years ago was a light weight Yamaha 250 Virago "fun" bike which was great for "throwing" around
roundabouts,(just before we moved up here)

I noticed Rosedale have a vintage/retro festival, that's prob the one you are talking about. 
I found a guy in Horsham but he is expensive.
Jess, they are fun but would like to get one with brakes, many don't have brakes so downhill is tricky.
