Should dam, the derivitave of damnation be bleeped?
I don't think so. I keep forgetting it gets bleeped, and then it looks like I said something much worse.

(A virgin sturgeon's a very fine fish,
Virgin sturgeon need no urgin',
That's why caviar's such a rare dish.)

FGS, is there anything left in which Sir Richard Branson doesn't have a financial interest?

...meanwhile in Straya...
"Hi Randy", said Fanny
"I feel like a shag on a rock this morning"
Randy asked, "Fanny are you not you feeling full of spunk today "?
Fanny said, " No, and I was **bleep** last night"
Randy asked " Why, did someone knock you up ?"
Fanny answered "yes, it was Woody, crikey, he has some pecker"

I get a lot of those She*ele.
It's a lot of why the boards have lost some of their fun in my opinion. We can't jest or joke as normal adults would.
I was a tad horrified to find a letter in my buying id's inbox a few days ago saying I had been a naughty girl for displaying a picture showing a mans genitalia. I would not normally do such a thing with my buying id. The mail was several weeks old, but I'd only just noticed it. I was about to reply, protesting my innocence, when I remembered Grand Pa Trout.
oops
Although I personally feel Grand Pa Trout is part of Ebay Community Legend and is it only right and proper that we remember Grand Pa Trout and introduce new members to him.

I find it odd that the word b l o o d y is bleeped out, but buggery slips through untouched.
When I started to learn english, my Translation Dictionary was my best friend, and I soon learned the meaning of both words. Most Australians are not aware what the second word really means. It is the worst swear word in my opinion.
Even today my children are careful of their words in my presence.

My husband believes Buggery is a place because his Dad told him so. I can't make him believe any different
There was a great toyota ad on tele years ago with the catch line being Bugger Me. I'm afraid we aussies are heathens at heart lol
(that is a generalisation, with an abundance of poetic license and is not meant to be an accurate reflection or representation of Australian society)

The dog jumping off the ute and landing, spread-eagled in the mud. "Bugger". LOL.
