Dancing beauty engrossed in the feast
Tree sweat, once silent rolls down
Now sings and crackles feeding the crown
Merciless winds sweep from an inland so dry
Shoot a battalion of embers to a paddock of rye
An army of flames form a united front
Searching for fuel to continue their hunt
Hunt they did with relentless speed
Consuming the living with unparalleled greed
Bearing its teeth of red orange and gold
Ensuring its victims never grew old
Armageddon hath come as foretold in the past
With the ashen decimation of a nuclear blast
Charred souls laying where the beast had its way
