Has anyone heard this song? It's very catchy with a good little beat and clever arrangement but, oh...very suggestive. The Video is quite...hmmm...well...secksually explicit.
Anyway, the late Marvin Gaye's family have accused him of plagiarism:
Robin Thicke allegedly offered a substantial payout to the family of Marvin Gaye even though he has since filed a lawsuit claiming his song 'Blurred Lines' is not copied from a tune by the late soul singer.
Billboardmagazine said Gaye's family turned down a six-figure offer from Thicke after they accused him of plagiarising the 1971 song 'Got to Give It Up'.
After they turned down the offer, Thicke and co-writers Pharrell Williams and Clifford Harris Jr (aka T.I) filed a suit asking a civil court to declare there is no copyright infringement between the two songs.
They also asked that the court declare 'Blurred Lines' did not infringe on the Funkadelic song 'Sexy Ways'.
On the Friday's breakfast show they played both 'Got to Give It Up' and 'Sexy Ways' in comparison and they sound nothing alike, except maybe the tempo.

I've heard both and I think Robin Thicke's song is reminicient. That doesn't make it plagiarism. Its just the same back beat
