Boat arrivals

Have any unauthorized boats carrying people with the intent to seek asylum in Australia arrived in the past few weeks?

If you look at that video, that's the plan.

It has always been hoped that ione day they will be able to return to their homeland, but after so long they would not have the skills necessary to rebuild their communities.

So as well as helping them with skills and resources to sustain their current communities in the camps, they are also looking to the future.

That film talks of how last year, 9 kids who finished their schooling went back to Burma and established schools in villages where there were no schools, I didn't know that. That's a good thing.

Now with the peace talks and the possibility of many more going "home" they need those skills and the support more than ever to reestablish their lives in their homes.

As you are such a caring person and everyone else is heartless answer these simple questions.. You can give 1 word or even a 1 line answer per question.... 

How many have you welcomed into your home as boarders (spelling mistake corrected for LL) as you are so compassionate and a huge advocate of the refugee system and boat people. 

How many have you helped financially?

How many have you assisted with your time?

I've had asylum seekers stay in my home....well, one family.

They were nice people and cooked much better than I do, so I felt lucky.

Lets just hope they still have pride in their culture, use their language and aren't speaking in tongues 🙂

I have to wonder if you would have the same feeling of warmth towards someone who invadeded your house uninvited, forced their way in and demanded to be fed , housed and entertained at your expense.

If you had have watched the video, you would have seen that they were being taught their national anthem and that they were predominantly taught in their own language.

well then, why wouldn't you pay to put them on a plane?

Or if you have some kind of proof of their identity and are able to provide for them, why wouldn't you pay for them to arrive here safely?
