If the horrific murder of two Australians is carried out then we should boycott Bali and all things Indonesian.
We gave over a $billion dollars to this country after the tsunami, we prop then up with foreign aid and they spit in our faces.
They have ignored all diplomatic attempts to mitigate their sentences and Watta a Joko has now signed the order to send them to the "killing Island" wouldn't want to kill them on Bali now would they, might upset the tourism business.
I'm appalled and disgusted, scared and frightened for these men and heartsick for their families.

Frankly I'm sick of the mantra "oh the poor Balinese" they are so gentle and kind, rubbish, they have been exploiting Australians for decades. Young people sold ethanol and mad dangerous parties is what they offer the young.
People die there Tourists die there every day, go blind by the poison served up and left to get themselves home the best way they can after all the millions of tourist dollars spent there and they kill us and bomb us, no decent hospital even now.
Most of the tourist dollars go straight to Jakarta and into the hands of the corrupt.
Now we are supposed to go back there, give them our money after they murder 2 Australians in the most cold blooded sickening way, heartless and cruel, they hide it away on another island, the killing place.
Have we seen any support? any street protests about this in Bali? anything? no, because Indonesia would stamp it out.
What Watta Joke is doing is against human rights, against their own constitution even, he's a political murderer.
Two Australians facing death in the most heartless and cruel way and their parents and families? well one can't even comprehend the anguish they are also suffering, the torture.

If Australians are exploited, it is not the fault of the Balinese.
"You teach people how to treat you".

The thing is, the death penalty in Indonesia for drugs is voluntary to individuals all you have to do is strap drugs to your body to get the death penalty it is easier to get this than winning the lottery. I have never been there but I hear the signs saying drug dealing carries the death sentence are posted everywhere so why deal in drugs?
Lets assume the profit from that importation was say $1 million or $100 million that is still not worth your life if caught, so why do they still do it?
No amount of money is worth giving up your life for, but these people thought it was worth it. I don't see the sense in that.

I'll put it another way, lets say we go skydiving. Would you jump out without your parachute? Why not? What if you land on a soft 50metre high stack of hay, it wont kill you, will it? Would you risk it?

What a ridiculous proposition, expect nothing else from some on here, some ridiculous excuse to the detriment of our young people, ordinary decent young Australians, schoolies celebrating their end of year, they deserve everything they get do they?
if that's the case, explain to us on here how they can sell drinks to decent young Australians laced with ethanol, what they deserve it?? why, because they have money, go there for a great holiday and end up brain damaged, blind or worse. They deserve that do they?

Where did I say anything about anyone deserving anything? Your problem if you read deep meanings into the comments of others.
Most of the obnoxious Australian tourists would be middle aged. They behave there not as they behave here, and wonder why they are exploited.

You should have quoted it, as the mods have now deleted it.
Apart from what it was, It was interesting thar SHE-EL and others didn't comment on it.
If we had posted that, they would have been all over us, calling us racist, biggoted,
the usual words that don't seem to apply to them
To be completely fair, it's a bit hard to read something that's not there. As I keep seeing people being told, we're not all on here 24/7
Well then you sould learn to read what was there instead of what remains.
Of all the dribble on the forum attacking people for not responding to a post that's been removed would come close to being the most stupid attack ever.
As for calling people names. Who calls other posters racists and bigotted?
I've seen a lot of name calling of posters and most of it comes from those who accuse others of calling them racists and bigots. There is a difference between talking about the racist attitudes of some journalists or political commenters and calling other posters names, even if those names or attacks are littered with spaces in an attempt to circumvent the forum rules.

The Dutch have reportedly recalled their ambassador after the execution if dutch citizens. There are reports that Brazil has recalled their ambassador for the same reason.
