If the horrific murder of two Australians is carried out then we should boycott Bali and all things Indonesian.
We gave over a $billion dollars to this country after the tsunami, we prop then up with foreign aid and they spit in our faces.
They have ignored all diplomatic attempts to mitigate their sentences and Watta a Joko has now signed the order to send them to the "killing Island" wouldn't want to kill them on Bali now would they, might upset the tourism business.
I'm appalled and disgusted, scared and frightened for these men and heartsick for their families.

That quote was from the same article..... does that mean there was no evidence?
I think that pertains to the actual trial
If there is evidence of a bribe......what does that mean?
It might mean the holder of the evidence will meet with an accident in the near future.
Or it might mean that the execution is delayed while the claim is investigated.
Or possibly that the execution will go ahead as planned then an investigation of the attempted bribe will take place leading to the execution of the judge.
Or the judge might afford to apy the bribe and get off.
In other words, I've no idea what might happen.
I was thinking that would mean a mis trial....... If that happens in Indo...... Bribes are however, more likely the norm.

Mmm, don't know if they have a mistrial in Indonesia or not.

IMO the Indons are just stretching it out for effect.
"See what we do to drugs smugglers in Indonesia?
See what we do to AUSSIE drug smugglers in Indonesia, same as other nationalities, irrespective of our supposed close ties and the revenue the tourist trade brings us?
See how we can humble the Australians who beg us to let their citizens live?"
The message is: DON'T SMUGGLE DRUGS IN INDONESIA!

If you're going to smuggle drugs, try to get caught in Australia, they have human rights and will handle you with kid gloves lol.

'pembatalan sidang' - mistrial in Indonesian.
They do have a word for it....lol......

They do seem to be dragging it out for some reason. The excuses they give are silly.
Perhaps so they can say they listened to the PM and the FM and "considered" their arguments.

Their death warrants were signed in December. Watta Joko signed all death row inmates warrants in December 2014 so they are dragging these 2 Australians and all the others through unimaginable torture.
"Indonsia is our friend" well with friends like this who needs enemies. Why do we bow and scrape to this monster, Joko. Just like we bent over backwards to Bam Bam, gave them planes and boats all the while a lucrative people smuggling business flourished right under their corrupttive noses, they let it happen, they wouldn't even go out to rescue people in mortal danger, they left it all up to us.
Why didn't Corby get the death penalty? The whole country is riven with corruption, right to the top.

Obviously idle finds it distressing so it's not very funny, to me.

Poor polks is totally against the death penalty but is certainly in idle's firning line
I am not "going off" at anybody, this subject is far too grave for partisan one upmanship. Polks made frivolous remarks about coffee and April fools day and was called out for it.
If you have something to add the the subject of this thread then put it rather than a sideways swipe at me. This thread has already been censured by the mods and yet here you are stirring.
