Boycott Bali

If the horrific murder of two Australians is carried out then we should boycott Bali and all things Indonesian.

We gave over a $billion dollars to this country after the tsunami, we prop then up with foreign aid and they spit in our faces.

They have  ignored all diplomatic attempts to mitigate their sentences and Watta a Joko has now signed the order to send them to the "killing Island" wouldn't want to kill them on Bali now would they, might upset the tourism business.

I'm appalled and disgusted, scared and frightened for these men and heartsick for their families.

Re: Boycott Bali

I don't want to carry this on so all I'll say is that there was absolutely no abusive posts from me and it's all very convenient to now say there were.

If it's a conversation about how Indonesia is behaving towards us "one of their  friends" then why is it that they can't see that most of the nation is up in arms about the killing of two of our citizens.

Why can't they see that they pay blood money to rescue their citizens overseas on drug charges, they get mercy for them and we, their very good neighbours and friends, their most generous givers of aid and succor when they most need it, are humiliated, left to resort to begging for their citizens  lives.

I don't get it either.  The posts were removed in my favour.  Evidence.

In the same post that was referred to (this last time), I did discuss the topic, but have been told I did not.      Smiley Indifferent

I see no direction towards anyone, either, (except to the mods)

Will you please stop this witch hunting, you are totally in the wrong, have gone off topic whenever you felt like it and will not desist in this childish tat for tat behaviour.

This is a grave subject and all you feel like doing on it is an undignified game of oneupmanship.

I'll say no more to you on this matter.

Re: Boycott Bali

OK well I wouldn't go to Bali for a holiday unless they paid me to.

Did they remove your personal attacks, name calling and off topic posts?.....Because there has been quite a few....lol.

Tony Abbott does seem to be stepping up the pressure.

The mods have indeed removed some of the abusive posts.  Thank you, mods..

I agree with you that all this publicity might deter some, but the problem is that there are others who are successful, and they know that, and either their addiction or their lust for money overrides any fear.

I wonder what the two were going to get paid?

Thanks for posting that icy but I'm afraid these "Balinese" totally miss the mark about how deeply Australians feel about the state sanctioned murder of two of our citizens.

All that article seems to to be about is their tourist dollars and how Australians  can go to blazes.

If they felt so hard done by after over 45  years and longer of fleecing Australian tourists why didn't they speak up earlier. Why didn't they subject tourists to normal rules and regulations when using their premises, why? the almighty tourist dollar that's why.

They fall a micron short of calling all Australians racists, I wonder they didn't go the whole insult and offend a whole nation because that's what their country is doing, Australia is not murdering their citzens.

Hypocrite comes to  mind when I read that article, they still want the Aussie tourist dollar.

That word has come to my mind fairly often reading this thread also.....lol.

It was a big amount, so probably lots.  And the minor people, a lot less.  Am only guessing, have no knowledge of how it works.
