If the horrific murder of two Australians is carried out then we should boycott Bali and all things Indonesian.

We gave over a $billion dollars to this country after the tsunami, we prop then up with foreign aid and they spit in our faces.

They have  ignored all diplomatic attempts to mitigate their sentences and Watta a Joko has now signed the order to send them to the "killing Island" wouldn't want to kill them on Bali now would they, might upset the tourism business.

I'm appalled and disgusted, scared and frightened for these men and heartsick for their families.

Except it wasn't talking about the racist attitudes of some journo or political commentator, it was what you would have and have said is racist and bigoted.

It would be like me saying someone Is "white trash because they eat Pies and drink VB" but worse.

Yes.

After the initial arrests, it seemed the Indos went to a shoot first, ask no question later type stance
Or possibly 'engineered' situations to enable them to do 'what was best for everyone'
It should have happened from the start.

Indonesia spends big to save citizens

Published: 5:26 pm, Wednesday, 4 February 2015

The Indonesian government is spending millions of dollars on lawyers and to victims' families to get its citizens off death row in foreign countries despite ramping up its own rate of execution.

Even though President Joko Widodo has sent five foreigners and one Indonesian to the firing squad for drug offences so far in 2015 with Australians Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran next on the list, Indonesia continues to pay for leniency in other countries.

Possibly locked up for life without access to the outside world would be preferable.

What a ridiculous proposition, expect nothing  else from some on here, some ridiculous excuse to the detriment of our young people, ordinary decent young Australians, schoolies celebrating their end of year, they deserve everything they get do they?

if that's the case,  explain to us on here how they can sell drinks to decent young Australians  laced with ethanol, what they deserve it?? why, because they have money, go there for a great holiday and end up brain damaged, blind or worse. They deserve that do they?

If that is going to be your argument then you should also be encouraging the world to boycott Australia. Tourists get fleeced, mugged, raped or murdered here every year, but nobody as far as I know has ever  suggested the Australian population as a whole is a bunch of crooks.
