Halal certification funding terrorism = a big fat lie.
Crude Oil funding terrorism = fact.
So IF you are really so concerned about the spread of Islam, the horror of terrorism, and the threat of muslims taking over Australia then I suggest you stop driving a car.
So far this fact has been ignored in the halal obsessed threads which is very odd given the feverish arguments about Islamic terrorism.

Great post lyndal .... I prefer not to purchase halal certified food, but then I prefer not to purchase supermarket meat, F & V, "jar food" etc Is this boycotting? No, it's exercising my free choice to purchase the type of food I prefer to eat. I don't harass/bully ANY company and am tired of being accused of doing so. I don't believe that the money from halal certification is used to fund terrorism, any more than I believe that pigs and dogs are any more "unclean" than any other animal or that pointing an animal in a certain direction and praying over it makes any difference at all.

Petrol plays a large part in the manufacture of plastic.
Are you ready to boycott plastic as well?
I don't think Lyndal feels the need to boycott anything. She was simply pointing out the absurdity of of it.
Totally agree.
My question was general, I just happened to hit Lyndal's post to reply with.
Please accept my sincere apologies if you feel you've been unfairly targetted, Lyndal .
I don't feel I was being targetted Icy....i just replied using travel/transport as an example because it affects my family big time.
My OH is a courier, I do his bookwork and my daughter is the state manager of the courier division of an International transport and logistics company.
If vehicles are taken off the road we would all be out of work but more to the point, when I think of the wide variety of goods delivered by couriers and transport companies, daily life as we know it would grind to a halt.

OK, so you are happy if millions a day flow to ISIL?
By the way, I or nobody else is actually suggesting boycotting petrol. We are just pointing out the irony of the situation. 🙂 As I already said above, but judging from the other posts nobody seems to have read it.

Given your comments, I'm afraid I can't give you any credit for seeing the irony particularly as you have addressed the topic so very literally.

Yeah. It's real dumb for 70 people to take the bus using one lot of petrol compared to 70 people driving 70 cars and using up to 70 times more petrol for a similar trip.
Seriously if you are going to upload a photo and then make fun of it then AT LEAST understand what it means.
And you claim the lefties are 'dumb' lol...
