Halal certification funding terrorism = a big fat lie.
Crude Oil funding terrorism = fact.
So IF you are really so concerned about the spread of Islam, the horror of terrorism, and the threat of muslims taking over Australia then I suggest you stop driving a car.
So far this fact has been ignored in the halal obsessed threads which is very odd given the feverish arguments about Islamic terrorism.

Who is WE? Some Australians do need their meat to be halal certified.
And I'll ask you, as I asked Nero, do you have any evidence to show that meat sourced from an abattoir that is halal certified is more expensive than meat certified from one that isn't?
WE = as only 2% of the population need it, the other 98% dont need Halal certification.
and as there is a cost for this Halal certification it has to be passed onto consumers, who do you think is paying for it????
So I'll ask again. Is the steak you put on your barbecue cheaper if it comes from an abattoir that doesn't have halal certification?

Fine. Then don't blooming well buy it. The food is labelled anyway so making a choice to choose another product isn't rocket science.
Sheesh!
Well we're not blooming-well buying it. We're boycotting it. What's your problem with that?
Sheesh!

Should people be boycotting Coles & Woolies petrol outlets too, as well as halal labelled food? The petrol sales could be funding terrorists overseas.
If people want to boycott petrol they blooming well can, Am.

Got to be consistent though , those that don't want to support funds going to terrorist with halal cert money,
Who says? like you with your your Cadbury's bikkies being made in Poland, I similarly like don't like my Lipton's Fruits of the Forest herbal tea infusion being made in Russia. So I don't buy it.
It's not JUST about funds going towards terrorism.
Aussies have no need for some black-robed priest chanting ritual prayers over the poor beast while it collapses and dies slowly of blood-loss from it's cut throat. That's just barbaric and there's no place for it in a modern and progressive society.
Aussies just want it stunned and and killed before it knows what hit it. No need for cruel archaic practices
Aussies also balk at supporting a religion that suppresses women and teaches intolerance against those that don't follow it.
Aussies don't really like their producers feeling pressured by religious groups into paying for certification that is not required by the majority of the population, either.
surely they don't want their petrol money used for the same purpose.
You do know this is just a tongue in cheek call by Martini. To boycott petrol?
She doesn't really expect anyone to. Ask ***super_nova***. Post 26

In that case I wont be paying for something I don't want or agree with to appease just 2% of trouble makers who don't want to be here other than to cause trouble.
Why should I pay an extortion tax
