Boycott petrol!

Halal certification funding terrorism = a big fat lie.

Crude Oil funding terrorism = fact.

So IF you are really so concerned about the spread of Islam, the horror of terrorism, and the threat of muslims taking over Australia then I suggest you stop driving a car.

So far this fact has been ignored in the halal obsessed threads which is very odd given the feverish arguments about Islamic terrorism.

I thought it would be China gearing up to take over Australia. Good luck getting people to boycot "made in China" with black friday and Christmas coming up.

I tried, rode my bicycle instead and police took it, they must be working for the oil companys.

"dem road made fer cars, bicycle lady thoughts she hads rights"

.

What makes you think those can boycott petrol arent already doing so? I'm sure you're smart enough to realise that most people cant actually boycott fuel in this day and age even if they want to.

I'd happily boycott fuel if there was as easy an alternative as just choosing another brand of cookie. It costs me a damn fortune to get from place to place where I live. A flying broom would be handy I reckon 🙂

Why not? For most people it's as easy as cutting down their travel and travelling by public transport whenever they can. My family made the choice (for environmental reasons) many years ago. I can now go months without driving a car.

And even if they can't stop driving a car, where is the "boycott middle eastern petrol" campaign? We have a choice to buy petrol from the middle east or from other oil reserves. The US made that choice and now consume petrol mainly from their own reserves or south america.

Australians buy from the middle east and indonesia (who import from the middle east and export to us suckers).

So where are the facebook pages devoted to making this change? Where is harrassment of the oil companies who buy 'tainted' petrol?

Where is the discussion about this? How come the boards haven't been swamped by this? And how is it that when the question is asked on other threads, it is ignored?

It really does not matter how individuals feel about boycotting petrol, it is not really practical for most people.

Would you be prepared to stop going to the supermarkets.....grow your own food or stop eating?  How do you think the supermarkets get their stock?

Are you happy to have no clothing in the stores, no ebay buying, no mail, no bills delivered (that I could live with but the utility companies might not be so happy).

There is no point in standing on your high horse and refusing to buy petrol for your car when you are so dependent on petrol for all aspects of your everyday life.

Would you prefer to go back to the days of the horse and cart where most food was brought to your door?

Of -course, I agree with what you say, but all the same; ISIL gets millions from oil.  Maybe we should demand to know provenance of the oil that comes to Australia, maybe we should demand that ALL countries around the world agree not to buy oil from ISIL.  And here we are sending our troops to fight ISIL, but do nothing to cut off ISIL income and weapon supply.  That would be the quickest way to defeat them.  Instead there is campaign to stop halal certification, which has nothing to do with anything, raises only small profit, and as far nobody was able to prove that any money from it goes to terrorist.
