Do people really whinge about breaking a nail??? hahaaa!
I always thought it was one of those things said in a joking way.....not something that a person would really complain about??
Does anyone else know someone who does this...or do you ?

I told her to go to the nail tech if it bothered her so much, or cut the others to match.....I got the "Are you CRAZY" look.
I've got a bandaid on one at the moment. It partly broke today and I had nothing to try cutting the rest off with.
I'm thinking I might keep the bandaid until it grows far enough to cut without leaving catchy bit.
Do nail salons repair nails?

I remember the typing pool in the 60's, Kim broke her fingernail. The whole "pool" stopped to commiserate. I couldn't believe it! As a typist then, you were taught that the nails shouldn't be heard when tapped on the desk top.
These were her natural nails. Pre-acrylic days. Half moon days.

If you keep the broken bit of nail you can use nail glue or I think a salon would do it .
Think a bandaid would be better! A barbie bandaid even !!
Off to watch MKR.....wonder if tonights contestants will break any nails?

Hahaha. Yep, I'm hoping the trusty bandaids will last until it gets to the above blood line. It's not half way across yet. Just enough to annoy, big time.

I use to cut a small piece off a tea bag, empty tea out of dry bag, hold the broken nail put the tea bag over where the nail ripped and fold in the edges hold it then put super glue all over it.
Let it dry then put nail polish on.
It use to hold the broken bit onto the nail until the nail grew out, then you could cut rest of nail off........it worked everytime, and I saved many of my nails by doing that.
Would do it now, but havent got any super glue.

they are revolting. I have always wondered about women that grow their nails to that length, how they manage to do anything........
