Before Christmas, we bought a 10" Newtonian Dobsonian mount astro-telescope and there hasn't been much to see in the way of planets yet, but we did see Saturn and it was amazing, saw some of the moons too.
We'll certainly be out and about tomorrow night!

You might be right though Lind, there is a cool change and rain on the way so it's more than likely it will not be clear skies .... but all fingers crossed ...

A source told me it is closest 29th and the eclipse is 31st.
But now I can't find anything except the 31st so maybe my source was mistaken.

Amber, it's not happening until the 31st.
Maybe, hopefully, it will clear before then.
