My son has seen The Human Centipede. I asked him what it was like - he said it is grotesque and barbaric. I asked if he would recommend it. He said only to people who are a bit f***ed and get off on sick s*it!

I did look at a short preview on line and it doesn't show much. But the idea of the film is beyond perverted. I was surprised to learn of a  third movie, the second sequel to it.  Your son is 100% correct!

Years ago I saw the preview for The Toxic Avenger and thought that this was a bit much. Today it would be regarded as funny and tame. I think the boundaries have been pushed far enough. Too far!

BTW: The Saw film that I watched, the one  that had a scene with ra vat and rotten pigs could only come from a twisted mind. That put me off watching any more.

Thinking more on this I can see the importance of what has been said here. It can't be unwatched! What's in our subconscious can stick in there and who knows how it can mess with the mind later? I don't  mind  the older type horror films, monster films too. I realize were in the 2000s now and folks need a kick. But when the boundaries get pushed as it is with this film, could something possibly manifest itself later?. This film shows deprivation of liberty and extreme cruelty. The sewing together of three human beings as it has been done in the film displays the worst kind of perversion and humiliation. Were the censors playing poker or gin rummy while the film was supposed to be assessed?

I think the SAW films are sick and that's why I won't watch any more of them. But this film goes beyond that. So saying "you can NEVER unwatch it" seems to be  real solid advice with a very valid & real warning.
