CERVINE CHEESE

Will you try deer cheese if it comes here?

I love cheese, including goat cheese, so will probably try it, depending on the price.

No I don't think I would, unless it were served up to me.

Probably would be alright, no different from sheeps, goats or cows milk, really. They all eat grass, don't they?

It's funny you should mention different cheeses today because last night I had goats cheese for the first time and wow, I loved it!

It was a tiny block of goats cheese with Italian black truffles left over unopened from Christmas.  The black truffle was sprinkled over the top and all that did was make it cost a fortune because there wasn't much of it.  I used it instead of feta in a salad and it was delish.

I don't know about cervine cheese.  I don't really like the idea of even eating little Bambies but I do eat cute little lambs.  I have never eaten goat.

Apparently Curried Goat is one of the best Indian dishes there is.  I will try it one day.

Sheeps milk yoghurt is divine (and very faintly green!) - I really enjoy yoghurt and will always buy Meredith Dairy's - even the plain is sweet and delicious with fresh strawbeerries.

Gotta go now. I have an urgent need to get to Feast on Fruit - our wonderful local fruit/vege/fabulous deli.

Marina.
