CERVINE CHEESE

Will you try deer cheese if it comes here?

I love cheese, including goat cheese, so will probably try it, depending on the price.

What animal's cheese would you not eat?

Re: CERVINE CHEESE

A New Zealand farmer and a cheese maker have joined forces to craft what they hope will be the world's first commercially produced cheese using deer milk.

Scientists say deer milk is rich in nutrients and protein, and could also have wide-ranging therapeutic and cosmetic uses.

Clever people.

I am not really into any type of cheese.

Eeew!    I've tasted breast milk (not my own) when doing baby nurse training.  Don't know why, but we had to.

Re: CERVINE CHEESE

i will definitely try it.  I love goats and sheep cheese.  Used to make my own when we had 2 goats and were getting close to 10l of milk a day.  The kids drunk it and dogs drunk it, and I still had heaps that I did not know what to do with, so I started to make cheese.

By the way, in the wild deer do not just eat ordinary pasture grass, they would be eating bushes and low branches of conifers, as well as various wild herbs, therefore their meat is so tasty.
