CO2 - why does every little bit count

It really is very simple.  There is CO2 in the atmosphere but the amount is normally static; there is an equilibrium.  But since the start of industrial revolution it has been steadily increasing.  Why does as little as few percent make difference?

Imagine you have a large tub almost full of water.  There is a tap running 100 litres per day into it, and on the bottom is a drain that takes away 100litres.  Therefore the level stays the same.  If you increase the water coming in by only 1%, it will add 101 litre per day, if the output stays the same, the water will slowly start rising, and one day it will overflow.

Re: CO2 - why does every little bit count

I equate it with diet, eat a little bit more every day and you will gain a little bit more.

Some people are just too dumb to understand the concept.

You need to prove that the climate system is highly sensitive to minuscule increases to co2.........

Observations say no.   Flawed computer models made predictions based on high sensitivity......they were very wrong.

Mother Earth might have a higher metabolism than you.....and your diet......and yes, some are just too dumb......lol.

The "Global Warming/Climate Change/Climate Diversity" fanatics must also be very fond of fish food as well, they swallow red herrings but the bucket full.

The computer predicted it so it must be so.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

The sceptics are losing the battle.More and more programmes are being put in place to combat global warming.Europe, the USA and China notably are moving forward
It may take some years yet before its all geared up but it will happen.End of argument and lol.
