Just popping in to say Gday after a break away from CS over the weekend. Am applying for a couple of jobs advertised, have been fixing up my resume again. What a tiresome job that is!

gday hope you all had a great weekend as we did.didnt do much really, went to visit some friends this arvy and are cooking a yummy dinner,bbq snags,potato,mushroom and bacon potato bake, fried onions and eggs, cant wait smells delish, ok,im outta here happy evening to u all, kay ♥♥

Hi all, Have had a rough 24 hours , a really good friend lost her mum last night, she had emphysema, but it was a blood infection and pnemonia that eventually took hold.. its a really sad situation as my friend has Aspergers and has no idea what to do ,and her brother is about as helpful as a wet tissue :-(...so I have been busy with enquiries as to where to from here , there was no will and no provision for a funeral...her mum was going to fix it all up this week....ironic isn't it..shows how life can deal a hand at anytime...I am at present looking for her mums sister as there has been nil contact for 10 years now..her sister has a right to know as my friend has said..she has asked me to find her..I only know her first and last name, but no address .
its really hard for families that are left behind to do what should have already been done and arranged...her brother said as he is the oldest everything automatically goes to him...GRRR...he also is actually responsible for the funeral,,but he said he is not paying for it...so I need to contact Centrelink tomorrow..
does anyone know what happens in this situation??

Freddie way to go with the sponges..I used to make great sponges,, I used to include 1/4 of a teaspoon of baking powder in the mix and sieve the flour at least 4 times and having the milk and eggs at room temperature is also a good idea...if you dont want the sponges to crack on top dont open the oven til they are done..then turn the oven off, leave the sponges in the oven with the oven door open, for about 5 or 10 mins then take them out to cool before transferring to a cake cooler!

Sorry I haven't been in I've been dog showing all weekend and had people over last night for dinner.

Little Holle did so well this weekend at the shows, she bought home 5 ribbons and 7 extra points. She got Best in Breed today, second time now, she's a little champion ♥

Well my heart is breaking for my daughter right now. She phoned as I was cooking dinner earlier, absolutely distraught and sobbing.
Apparently her boyfriend of almost 3 years, with whom she lives, has broken up with her.

Poor girl is just beside herself, and I was ready to jump in my car with P, and drive the 3-4 hours to Brisbane to get her. But she's going to stay with a friend tonight.

So we are going to pick her up tomorrow after work, and bring her up here to Hervey Bay to spend a few days with me, and sort out things. At this stage she wants to move back in with me, which of course is perfectly fine by me.

This is her first real broken heart, and I just wish I could take the pain away for her. I had the feeling something like this was on the cards........just something she'd said to me on the phone last week, and a niggling worry that's been in my head these past few nights.

Vent over, tears still being shed. Can't wait to have my girl back with me again. Even at 20 years of age, she is still my little girl.

Oh that's so sad, it must be so hard to watch her heart break and being so far away.

It is Crystal..........I just want to hold her in my arms.

Being here, with her beloved cat who she misses, and some time away from him will do her good I think.

Neither of us will sleep well tonight that's for sure.

Anyways, I am going to get the spare room ready.
