Good Morning.
Just passing through, it has been a very hectic 24 hours or so!
We did the round trip yesterday from Hervey Bay to Ipswich and right back again, some 800kms in distance, to bring my daughter home to me.
She is moving up here as she has nowhere else to live down in Ipswich, and her boss was really understanding to her yesterday and allowed her to finish up right away, promising an excellent reference, and even paying her out for 2 weeks, plus annual leave. Apparently that is something that they do not have to do seeing it was such short notice, but because they regarded my daughter so highly as an employee they have done this for her.
So yesterday after we picked her up from work at 5pm, she packed up as much of her clothing and shoe collection as she could [we need a bigger house, LOL], and other stuff she needed right away, and drove up here, arriving home at 11.30pm.
In a couple of weeks we have to go back down for the remainder of her stuff, and her fridge.
She is hurting really badly, but seemed much better the further away we got from her old home. Her boyfriend, or should I say ex boyfriend, was frightened to face me, so stayed at his parents house till after we'd left. LOL
Not that I would have said anything to him, or given him the evil eye, but my daughter said he was scared that I might!
Now we have to reorganise things to fit in her extensive wardrobe and shoe collection, and a new wardrobe and tallboy is on her shopping list. Will look at charity shops before looking elsewhere.
Purps, I love reading your trip updates, makes me quite envious!! LOL
Pauline, sorry your friend has had so many problems organising stuff, but thank goodness she has you there to help and support her. And I am sure she really appreciates your help!

My kids loved this machine. It is in the park over the road from where we lived. It is at Red Cliffs just south of Mildura.
