Good afternoon all.

Had a quiet day. Had a look around Cobar. They have a lookout that looks over the mine. It was great. Shows the trucks etc coming down and then going beneath the ground. Nice little town. People seem friendly.

Jen we are not coming through the coast. Going inland. Off to Cunnamulla tomorrow. Then on to Alpha where I lived for a while and started school. Looking forward to that. See if I remember anything. LOL

Nohousework be nice for you to retire. Sounds good and I can say I am enjoying retirement.

Karen the trip is still going well. We have our moments but they soon pass. LOL Not good about the heating. Hope it gets fixed soon.

PCT, I am pleased you are having a nice time. I don't enjoy travelling but would love the camping so long as it was dry! Hubby wants to travel in a few years.
When you get back, it would be nice to meet for coffee and cake!

Hi nohouse bet you are looking forward to retirement and yes marvellous in the garden at this time of the year....is a pleasure getting out and about......Mother still is chugging....but hell she looks so frail and lost and wan rips me right up when i see her:(

well at least I did not burn myself this time!!!

i have a day surgery procedure on Tuesday,and the last thing I am gonna feel like doing is cooking...so there is heaps of soup, and i can always freeze some of the chocky cake..
