It is a tad windy here today too:)
I am having guests for the weekend, good friends up for a couple of days from Brissie, so I shall enjoy that
Love our boat club here as they have wonderful meals and saves me cooking lol
I am off to see our sports shop as I am trying to find a machine to help me with fitness, I started a thread about it so if anyone can tell me any tips or ideas would be appreciated:)

> Good morning everyone
>
> JVH glad you only had a mild swine flu experience (tho it sounds horrible) - my mumma just turned 70 - she is very fit but does get awful chest infections with the flu. I had to call an ambulance on one occasion as she couldn't breathe - (I moved in for a week to take care of her) - as she was bedridden. It frightened me.
>
> Today is a bit sad as the nephew I lost would have turned 27 today - happy birthday sweetheart. All I can do is take some flowers to the cemetary and make sure his mum dad and grandparents are ok.
>
> My neice (5yrs) is spending the weekend with me. I have been downloading kids recipes as she loves to cook (aaaaaahhhhh!) - but I'm very excited she is coming.
>
> Hope everyone enjoys their Friday - it's windy, freezing and raining here!

Re: COMMUNITY FRIENDSHIP THREAD FOR EVERYONE

Hi Jvh,glad you got to see mum,i'm sorry she's so frail,i'm sure somewhere deep inside she knew you were there.

i've been waiting for the glaizer to come, miss 3 god bless her cotton socks decide what fun it is to hit the bedroom window with a platic hammer. He thinks it will cost about $150.00 to fix and it's not worth claiming on insurance as i have $100 excess.Let's hope it's cheaper.

Hi Dame have a good weekend with your friends. How did you go at the sports store were they any help?

Hi miss hope you have a fun weekend with your niece my little one loves to help in the kitchen as well.

Hi and waves to everyone:-x

Re: COMMUNITY FRIENDSHIP THREAD FOR EVERYONE

Hi Libby:)
Well I have decided to get one, as I am trying to lose weight but also have circulation problems and I realise exercise is the best but with all my foot problems I canna seem to do what I used to, anyway will be fun wobbling around on it, I did ask the guy about weights as someone on the thread I started suggested but he thought this machine was better as I dont actually want muscles:) It helps apparently with heaps of things so one can hope, heaps of literature so I shall study it and maybe I will be trim taut and terrific in a few months:)

Re: COMMUNITY FRIENDSHIP THREAD FOR EVERYONE

Hi everyone!

JVH I'm sorry your mum was frail - a real tug at the heart! Nice of your OH to take you to lunch to distract you for a bit. Wish I could say something to make you feel better - hugs to you and keep on the road to good health!

Dame - good luck with the getting fit regime! I did read your post on cs and left a note for you. I use wii fit and find it wonderful for yoga/muscle exercises etc. Also very good for balance which I didn't realize was so very important.

Hey libby sorry about your window at least your little one wasn't hurt! I have already bought the cooking ingredients for my neice - (lots of sugar involved unfortunately means we will both be hyper) -

Still got fingers crossed for nef!! Hope all ok with you nef!

Wishes everyone on here a great weekend!
