Hi there I suffer from severe depression so have decided not to post for awhile in fear of bringing the group down. No news on the job front care not to comment further.
Say a pray 4 me in whatever religion u believe, lol:-) Feeling in a deep dark place atm should perk up 2morrow if 2morrow ever comes, lol.

Hi all,
The swine flu took awhile to get to the US but it is spreading like wildfire , and it is summer right now where I am on the East Coast in New England, so when winter hits here they are predicting a bad flu.regular/swine and they are into overtime making the vaccaines, I have family in florida, and they are getting their share also. The winter in the New England area differs than in Florida because they have warm weather but still have to be careful. I am hopeful these flues stay away from my family. 🙂

Hi yes and there doesnt seem to be any reason to it.......i have seen whole families with it......but it misses one person.....the symptoms are just so different almost vague......but suffice to say if you get a strange type of headache and or a very sore scratchy type throat joint pains go to the doc straight away.....as the Tamiflue has to be given within the 48 hours of the symptoms hitting

Hi jvh hope your health is continuing to improve!

Nef - this is exactly the place you need to be if you are feeling down - feel free to vent anytime - happy to lend a friendly ear and offer any support we can. My OH suffered depression once upon a time and it was gruelling for him (and for me) - hugs to you. Hope you do feel better today. Do you have anything to take to help? You can beat this Nef - as hard as it is - take care and let us know how you are!

Dancing fingers crossed you are safe from the awful swine flu. Our jvh is still recovering and it is truly awful! Is this another bout in the USA or the same one still circling? My sister in law is training to be a nurse (at the ripe old age of 59!) (in Florida) - and she has been busy administering flu injections.

Hi nefretti like missnogal said this is the place to chat and let it all out.....depression talked about does help a great deal. Am wondering if you are on anything to help you .....some marvellous meds around that do a marvellous job........

A marvellous doctor said to me once when i was doing chemo and rads......and suffering severly with depression.......if you had diabetes you would be treating it wouldnt you .......and i said yes.......well he said its the same for depression as well:)

Anyways to cut a very long story short he put me on Talam......was the best thing i ever did for my health and well being.....and one of the marvellous ones that are not addictive.....had me turned around in double quick time.

Wish you were closer that we could pop in and say hi or help in some way.

Hi Libby sorry to hear that........i guess the only plus is that it didnt happen in the middle of the summer and you had to struggle in the heat to try and fix it.
