LOVE TO BASICALLY TAP INTO ALL THAT EXPERIENCE THAT IS OUT THERE......AND ABOVE ALL ELSE WOULD LOVE TO SEE PEOPLE POST THAT FEEL THAT THEY MAY NOT HAVE MUCH TO CONTRIBUTE TO A THREAD., IM SURE THAT SOMEONE ON THE THREAD IS GOING TO FIND VERY INTERESTING WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY.

WE HAVE ALL AT SOME TIME BEEN BURNT BY THE FIRES OF HELL EITHER MENTALLY OR PHYSICALLY..DURING SOMETIME IN OUR LIFE....SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO SHARE SOMETHING THAT IS TROUBLING YOU OR HAS TROUBLED YOU I SINCERELY HOPE THAT YOU WILL GET THE SUPPORT HERE:)

Goooooooooooooood morning all and simply a magic day here on the Goldie......expecting a top of 27 now that aint exactly a spring temp:)
Not that much planned for the day...........although might do a spot of gardening this am before it gets hot.

Still sweating on the kids house there was an issue with the building report.......and waiting for the seller to get back to us on that.........fixable but will cost dough and they the owners dont seem willing to meet in the middle or for that matter communicate......however the solicitor the kids is a bulldog so not overly worried.....at this stage:)...they have a finance clause in there so that can always be fallen back on..........oh geez ill be so glad when their house issue is settled and i can get back to concentrating a bit on me etc:)

The OH is well and truly back in his box:) all quite on that front:)

Maybe I need to stick them in a more prominent position...rahter than stashed away in the cupboard...son doesnt interfer with them...

Hi Nef and thanks for that.........is your son old enough perhaps to remind you to take them or do you think that might be a bit too much to ask of him.......hard to get into a routine i loathe taking tablets with a passion:).....am a dreadful patient:)

lol jv its hard enough getting him to hang up his towel after a shower or pick up his dirty clothges and place them in the clothes hamper, lol. I reckon if I had a girl it would be different so wish I had a little girl...

Ah Nef youll be fine........sons are so close to their Mummas later in life or in fact right through life....and yes one has to keep on their hammer the whole time.........one sometimes feels like doing a tape recording and hitting the button and having it up full pelt.......its a full time job bringing up kids:)

Haha Kerry - dont you believe it - my girls were absolute grots growing up.

I laugh now when I hear them going off at their own teenagers about their rooms.

When do you have to take your tablets? Could you leave them next to your toothbrush or something like that?

Or set the alarm on your phone?

Hope everyone is doing ok - things seem to have settled here for the moment, and in sydney.

I think I will go to the library in the morning and have a lazy weekend. We have open house here (for the sale) tomorrow afternoon so will go out then for a while.

Thanks for the info re the dementia facility JV - but my brother is in Sydney. That's why I have not been around - have been down and back to help sort stuff out. Frequent flyer points are starting to look good though.

Hugs yes just thought id mention it as had no idea where you were all located.

Yes its a mission to try and find something that is just right for them

From much research calling in taking photos talking to staff......i have found the blue nurses to be up there with the angels........i had the blue care nurses attending and helping me with mother prior to her going into high care:)

Very tough time for you and yes one feels as guilty as all get out when you have to put them into care.........but with dementia etc one has next to no choice once the patient gets to a certain level with their illness:(
