Libby what a horrible day. Hope you're over it now! Coincidentally same thing happened to OH this morning - he was rear ended in heavy traffic - a lot of damage - will get a rental car in the interim SO we are thinking of Adelaide again next weekend.

Picked my neice up from school and had a lovely afternoon (she's in bed now)- tired now - will take her home tomorrow and then we will stay in the city tomorrow night and have lunch with friends on the way home sunday. Yum cha it is!

Hi Guys,i'm a bit late posting and should be making cheesecake for a party tomorrow night but i'm not in the mood.Have made the bases so will complete the rest of it after shopping in the morning.

Hey Nef boys are so much easier than girls,we were so pleased to discover we were having a girl when i was pregnant with her,she's the only one on my side of the familiy and the 2nd on my OH's side.But let me tell you from day dot she has ruled the roost.I love her to bits but at times i could cheerfully strangle her ;-)where as my 4 boys were pretty easy going.

In regards to your tablets could you put them near your kettle so that when you put it on in the morning
you can take them then.

Jvh hope you had a pleasant day in the garden,and hope that all works out for your son and angel in regards to the house i'll keep my fingers crossed for them.

Himissnogal and sorry to hear about the accident.........everyone just seems to be in a huge rush.......and of course more accidents are going to happen:(

Goooooooooooood morning to each and everyone of you:)

Well the saga of the kids house geez we cant take a trick.

We had the pest and building done on the property and i went up for that........as its the kids first house and they wanted me there to walk them through it hear what questions had to be asked etc etc.

Super thorough pest and building.....and the building inspection turned up that the roofing tiles needed to be

re embedded,
re pointed,
cleaned

and then painted.

There were other issues minor in the house but all very fixable.

So i got a verbal quote from a very well regarded roofing plumber in Wellington Point and he came up with quite an acceptable quote.....checked with the agent and he said yes good price checked with the solicitor acting for my family good price.........so notification was submitted to the owner re the problems and all necessary docs. re the building inspection submitted as well..........guess what the seller wont budge one dollar.

So we are back to square one......i think one of the issues is that the property came on the market and the next day we looked and they had a very good contract and offer on the table later the next day.

Looks like its back to the drawing board again.........really upset for the kids:(

Hi Karen yes we have tried all that they are not willing to budge......i think the problem is that the house was on the market and they had a contract on it the next day that way they are thinking yeeeeeeee haaaaa this is very easy to sell etc etc:(

Hugs Rosie yes thats what i keep tellling myself over and over......but at the moment feels like a real kick in the guts......had so much planned to do to the house and that was going to be my house warming pressie to the kids:(
