Good Morning all :-x

First night with on Pay TV, it was like losing an old friend so sad missed my shows I have watched at least 10 times b4, lol.
Looks like I might have a job lined up I will talk more of it later dont want my hopes up too high but its just a few days a week one day to Charters Towers and the other making case notes.

I am having a quiet day with only one 2 yo grandie today. The last 4 days have been hectic with three 2 yo's and the 8 month old. I think I am almost past my use by date as I am so exhausted.
Hubby walked in last night when I was reviving myself by having a lay down. He asked "what are you making for dinner?"
I replied "I think I have a sharp knife somewhere" ]:) before I saw the smile on his face.
He made dinner.:^O

Hi and good afternoon everyone..............been a full on day with very little to show for it

Gardened super early this am.......bathed the hound got tidied and went and fed Mother her lunch.......oh what a pitiful sight

Everytime i see her if that is at all possible she looks more frail......that strong will that conquered so very much throughout her life is now not allowing her to go.......was a battle royal to even get the insure( liquid pap for the terminally ill) into her.

However the plus was that she was out in the courtyard had been bathed and was all clean and fresh.......her eyes focus on nothing and there was no flicker of recognition no pupil change in size etc when i sat with her.

She would so hate to be the way she is and im feeling for one of the very first times in my life totally powerless and ineffectual....not a particular pleasant journey for any of us:(

So sorry to hear that Jen, it's sad but comforting to know she really doesn't appear to be suffering pain. I heard on the news recently Hazel Hawke has been admitted to full time care now.

Libby, did I leave the easy apple slice recipe for you? It's easy cheap and yummy.

It's just a vanilla cake mix ( Just the the cheap no name brand.)

Carton sour cream.

Can pie apple.

Make the cake mix to the directions, partly cook the mix remove and cover the mix with the pie apple. Add a beaten egg to the sour cream and spread it on the top of the pie apple, then sprinkle with cinamon, place it back in the over until cooked.

I find 40mins on 170deg is fine.

It doesn't sound much but it's really nice.
