Just been reading thru the threads and I have noticed alot of you ladies live in the warmer states..:-)geez I envy you all at the moment!!
Been out shopping/opp shopping too today, and boy it`s cold getting in & out of the car...I think getting older doesn`t help either,everything seems to be getting stiffer(I`m female...remember!!:-))

Hi Rosie and congrats on reaching retirement......such a nice time in ones life and you will find pretty quickly and wonder where did you ever get the time to go to work:) I seem always on the go and lead a frentic life cant remember when i had a few days off to switch off and kick back and not worry about anything:)

Ladies I am so sorry that I forgot to make you all breakfast this morning - I have been flat out like a lizard drinking, which I know is no excuse to forget your friends, but, well, I did.

apple upside downy kind of thing
baked cheese cake
fruit platter

hot chocolate
tea/coffee
fruit juice
iced coffee/chocolate

Oh, and I had a quick read, a few newbies - nics from the gamers and our resident yankee - cool. Hi ladies and glad you've popped in, hope you decide to stay.

Aww JVH don't feel badly - it is so hard visiting loved ones in such a way. When I visited my friend in the hospice - I would sit out in the car park trying to psyche myself up for ages before I could go in. So sad.

I'm turning 49 tomorrow (big one next year) - just hope I get taken out to dinner tomorrow night lol so I don't have to cook! Wind is blowing up a gale again tonight - time to batten down the hatches!
