Morning again, ladies (and gentlemen). Fine day here.
I finally renewed my license plate tags -- after being out of date since April, resulting in a ticket that Miss 18 had to endure, since she was driving it at the time :O.
Of course, I did remind Miss several times over that the tags were expired. The department sends out notices 3 months in advance...and well, I forgot about it/lost it. For the past week (once I remembered it was out of date), I was waiting to get some more $ to renew them. Miss was doing about 8 miles over the speed limit coming off the free-way ramp. This is a tricky spot. It goes from 65 freeway ----> to 35 in a very short period of time. Coppers sit and way for the scofflaws. She got a speeding ticket, too. Of course, she blames ME for the ticket; just as much as I could blame her for MY ticket. Officer said if it was only ONE infraction (either the minor speeding, or the out of date tags), Miss would not have been pulled over. At least for mine, I just had to go to the local police station, show proof that the license is now up to date, and pay a fine. Miss has to go to "traffic school" and pay a fine {giggle}
