Hugs Libby and had all the fingers and toes crossed re your son..........thank goodness they were so very understanding.........and also thank goodness the foot is not broken..............that is one less thing for you to worry over:)

Hey JV,

I have just applied to work in the UK sick of the heat here in T'ville and I like most things about the UK Eastenders, Come Dine with me, I'm a Celebrity get me outa here. I told them I have a kid, a chihuahua and ct but I found someone that says they give u
$15k in relocation expenses. I'm just worried about my weight. Beryl gave me the idea ages ago I feel attached to t'ville as its where I have grown up but lets face it no one gives a toss about me here that's for sure I need to move someone thousands of miles away, lol.
Wouldnt it be strange going over there when the relos came over here in the 1800's...
Wish me luck :-x

Hugs and wow thats another interesting avenue for you.........you will either love living there or not.

My kids just back from a couple of months over there.........sonny boy couldnt get his head around the Tube or the crowds but then hes a pretty laid back type ...........a queenslander through and through.

Yes the humidity gets to a lot of people..........if it was a dry heat one wouldnt mind its the dammed humidity that makes one feel dreadful

What type of work will you be looking at..........personally i think its a marvellous challenge.........and one has to follow ones dreams:)

Oh wow that has to be in so many ways mentally rewarding.........i so hope you can get a position .......would be marvellous for the little one also to experience a different culture........and you know to follow ones dreams can open a whole different type of lifestyle up for you:)

Fingers and toes crossed that something positive comes out of it all for you and the little one:)

Good luck with that Nef,hope it works out for you just keep in mind that you need to get paid well, cause it isn't cheap to live in the U.K.

Been out of touch for a while and it took me a while to catch up with all your doings!:-x
Jvh - So sorry to hear about your Mum - hope she is peaceful - so glad your son is supportive.

pjbear - best wishes on the outcome of your blood test, and hope all else is well with you.

Nef - be very careful, this OS venture sounds really exciting, but you need to make sure the job is actually there when you arrive - I went OS for a job - and having paid all that money to move, travel etc - I got there and the job wasn't!!!! -total disaster!!!!!
So make sure all is settled -i's dotted and t's crossed BEFORE you go.:-)
Otherwise it sounds really exciting:-x

Karen - how is your diet going? I haven't been back to the procrastinators thread since I stopped procrastinating!!!! - Maybe we can keep up here?
I've lost only 2.5kg in 1 month, but that's better than nothing!!:-p and I'm actually sticking to the diet regime although the exercise is just not happening - hopefully the warmer weather will fix that? (Or maybe I'll get less lazy?).:-D

Good morning to the thread:)
Lovley looking day up here today, take Chillie to the doctor today for the cv boot and a couple of other things, so hopefully that will be the end of it lol
My son put money into my account and shouted me sheepskin car seat covers for the front so thats cool:)
Had enough to get new mats as well
Mr and I have removed the side and back tint whoo what a job so will just wait for a while and then have car retinted:)
