Hi Dame and im bright pea acid green...........i would so love to be hitting the road.......has been my dream for many years.........dont ever seem to be getting closer.

Both look wonderful and the last one looks like an apartment on wheels.

Just imagine all the wonderful places you are going to be seeing:)

Hi there. Have been reading the thread just now.

Dame, so sorry to hear of your heartache about your step dad, but you are doing what is best for him, and for your mum. From what you had told me, things are just getting out of hand, and the time has definitely come for this step.
As his condition worsens he perhaps would take out his aggression on your mum, who at her age wouldn't be able to fight back, and goodness knows what might happen to her.

I'm sure you'll find the best place for him, and your mum will be able to visit him frequently.

Exciting news about your new venture..........I much prefer the look of the 3rd wheeler you like too, but the other one is a good deal considering the car and 3rd wheeler are a package.

P says the one you like would require a bigger car than the one pictured on the ebay link you gave.

Its nice to see you happy and excited about this venture, you deserve a nice trip away. Will your sister help take care of your mum by keeping an eye on her for you?

PJ, glad you got the doc in to see you when you were feeling unwell. Take care of yourself. You are a very strong person doing as much as you have done considering you've just had surgery. Please don't overdo things.

I am feeling a bit tired.......P is getting up at 5am each morning for work, and that means I'm awake then too.
Think I'll head off to bed and read for a bit.

I have given up on my job hunting. I do apply for about 3 a week, but don't even get to interview stage.

Hi Lilly and sorry to hear you are still finding it a struggle to find work........thats just so so sad and shouldnt be happening in this great country of ours:)

Goooooooooooooood morning all and dare i say that we may just maybe getting a little rain later in the day.

We are so desperately in need of rain.......everything is so dreadfully dry here on the coast:(

Very little happening here........will be off to see Mother shortly.......spend sometime with her and see what liquids she may manage for breakkie:(

I have just over a week before I leave for Townsville. Looking forward to seeing the family up there. And to catching up with Kerry again.

Well not much happening.


I am going to follow the sailing trip of Jessica Watson. I do not think it is a good idea to do this trip. Just feel unlike Jesse Marin she is lacking in something. May be wrong and I so hope she returns safely to Queensland. I know I would never encourage one of my children to do this Well let's hope things go well for her.

Raining up here today and I am off to Maryborough where there is a family gathering and a lunch so will get through that lol:)
Hmmmm one of the 5th wheelers I was looking at has been pulled but I have decided that I am going to take off soon with mr beam to visit some places in this wonderful land that I have not seen:)
Maybe we just may take off in the suburau and stay at motels or something, not sure but plans give one something to think about:)

Caravan parks have some lovely cabins. These have all the cooking facilities as well. Whatever you decide, I know you will enjoy it. Plus it is time to start thinking of you.
