hey all, it's been a busy one today, not even sure where the day has gone????? I know I went to the shop around lunchtime, but I did not really do anything???

Boy, its been noisy round here today too! the neighbours dogs have not shutup for the last 2 hours, I went out and told them if they didn't stop barking i'd tie their tails together(not that i really would) their owner told me to .......off! HOW RUDE!!

They are building or constructing bbq park ,picnic, playground area behind me, whether that is good or not I don't know...hafta wait and see..they are incorporating a skate and bmx track into the whole thing...We (the residents) signed petitions to keep the park a "DRY" area..it was successful so there is no drinking alcohol allowed there, LOL! I have enough trouble as it is dodging smashed glass on footpaths and roads...

Hiya scatty, how are you ? Do you enjoy daylight savings??I can't wait til the clocks go back!!Grr who wants daylight at 8pm??? and soon it will still be light at 9pm..oh man!!

Hey missynogal.Rob was not really what I expected either, I mean I did not expect him to be dressed up, but ya think he would of put something on that was not torn and less daggy?he had an acrylic jumper that was badly stretched and had holes in it,and he was wearing shorts..But he said he has never ever seen such a green state, he was gobsmacked that S.A was soooo green!!

They have a new flavoured potato chip..".Buttered popcorn" and they are foul..there are some flavours that should never be mixed..

I had better not lose this post..as my neck is getting sore, and I cant be bothered typing it out again!!!

Good on you for going out for a bit jen, and good on your son for putting the others back in their place....Like I said you simply can't please everyone...sometimes it's easier to not say anything and just do what needs doing...And you probably needed that sleep, just remember to keep that up, and look after yourself !!!!

Goooooooooooooooood morning all and it looks as though we may get some rain over the weekend........it is so so dry here

Thanks for all the well wishes etc........just a few loose ends to tie up this am etc and hopefully can have a lazy afternoon.

Good morning all.

Another busy day here. PT and shopping. Picking up some of the grandies Xmas presents today. Plus doing the grocery shopping for the trip. Just non perishables today. No frozen or cold stuff just yet. We are having trouble with the batteries that power the fridges whilst travelling and not able to access power. Getting them checkes out. Hoping we do not need to replace them as they are less than 12 months old plus cost a couple of hundred each. eek.

Dame hope you and mr like the 5th wheeler.

I have taken the skin off the tops of some of my fingers from scrubbing the camper etc. Teach me to wear gloves next time. I hate gloves.

Hi pjbear - there is a park somewhat close to me with the same things as you described and I take my neice there all the time - with no problems. Hope yours is the same - ours even has ducks (and ducklings) - sometimes have to stop the car to let them waddle across the road.

jvh - glad you sounding a little better. Yes isn't the business and financial stuff draining at a time like this. You don't need it! Hope your mum's estate is easily settled. A hug from me.

pjbear - yes I quite like daylight saving. At least I don't have to drive home in the dark any more! The kid's park sounds fabulous - glad it's dry. Kids need places like this - it keeps them out of mischief.

purple - sounds like you will be away for a long time if you're buying Christmas presents!! Enjoy.

I am working too hard (thanks for asking)! but my holiday to Adelaide and Darwin, in November, is slowly taking shape.:-)
Just to make you all cringe with envy I have booked 2 nights in Darwin at a place called Moonshadow villas (where the rich and famous stay!) They'll get a bit of a shock when I turn up, as I am neither rich, nor famous. LOL
Although, maybe not - my email communications with the proprietors have been really friendly - in fact I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm going to really like Darwin - probably the Aboriginal influence!:-x
Sorry to brag a bit, but this is my first real holiday in about 20 years, and I'm so pleased that it looks like it's going to work out so well.:-)

Dame we need pics of that campervan please..maybe we should all sign it when you do your travels..then people can see where you have been..and yours too purps maybe a piece of clear contact on the back window, that way you can just peel it off, and no damage is done???

Scatty your holiday sounds cool, I have not been on a holiday in about 8 years now,,It is lots harder organizing these things in a w/chair...

Well I am going to have a quiet night at home, and tomorrow I will have to start making christmas cards and getting them all out!
