hey no need to apologize , and nope no disappointment either,,

feeling really good, weather is cooler and went to the flicks today and saw an amzing movie called The Time Travellers Wife..I loved it and even got caught shedding a tear!

hey scatty ,glad you are back, I thought it was you that went away was going to email you to see if you wre ok..

I have to get a start on making these christmas cards tomorrow or i will run out of time,,have about 50 to make now have gotten more orders in the last day or two...and some times it can take 4 hours to do 1 card,, I did a birthday card for a very very dear friend on here last year and that card took me 7 hours from start to finish...but it was vey very pretty, and she loved it

mind you I posted her a christmas card last year, i posted it on the 15 dec and she did not get it for 2 months ...it was only going to tassie, and it went everywhere but,,it even had a Tunisian post mark on it??? gee it went further than i have been lol, and yet I posted a card to my Aunty in England and it got there in 4 days,,, very speedy!

I'd love to visit th NT but am worried about the wheelchair accessibility bit, and would have to do lots of checking before I left,, though I am planning a huge holiday next year,,, wanna go to the states and the tasmania to visit friends..and visit a fellow boardie, whom i am particularly close to!

glad the scatty cat is all better, My boy always jumps all over me when i have been away,, he gets a bit stressed if I am not around..poor baby..though I have had him since he was 5 weeks old he is now 11.9 years old.. 😞 dont like it when they start ageing...scares me.

Hi everyone. Internet is terrible out here. Got to get in when I can lol. We are not moving until Monday. Had a bit of rain today and had to postpone a couple of things. But we managed to do some great touring. Plus it is not good to pack the camper whilst it is wet. As we found out last trip.

Sorry to see some have problems with health and the health of their friends. Hugs to all.

I saw a doctor about my hay fever yesterday. Hmm well I might just say I am used to a doctor who talks to me without mumbling in his shoes and giving the impression he would rather have me out the door so he can go else where. Vent over. But he did give me some scripts. So all good.

Will be back when I can.

HI Purps yes one of the OH kids lives down in Tassie and they are always whinging about the internet connection........also have mates living out towards Cradle.....same story with them and hes a total whizz on computers:( HOpe you guys are enjoying yourselves:)

How is Dame doing these days?

I've had a really busy weekend clearing out the garden and getting the house ready for a saftey check. Still a load to do tomorrow and need to get all 3 princesses back in their rooms. Trust me that is a mamoth task in itself.

I'm trying to take it easy if I can get through tomorrow and Monday I can have a good rest. How are you today PJ?

well hello everyone...been a lot cooler here today, but with the rain it has become rather muggy...but I think by tomorrow it will be back to nice weather....

jv ,I know how hard it is with your friend, i have a friend who is very ill, her health would improve by 90% if she gave up the fags..she smokes 50 a day 😞 ,so stupid not to mention expensive..why do people do this to themselves ,,its beyond me?? I have never been a smoker, I did try once when I was at school, I had 1 puff of a friends and had a massive asthma attack..found out afterwards i have a nicotine allergy...LOL! but hated the smell and taste anyway...

puprs some doctors have absolutely no bedside manner..and they act like they are missing an extremely important golf game..

Hi Bear yes its very sad to see her.........we both want her to come and stay with us as we have a huge house but she is wanting to be in her own home at this stage.....just very sad to see her.......she does have secondaries in the liver

She hasnt lost a lot of weight.....but is already having a few problems when eating ....and the tummy feels very distended she said. Shes been a tower of strenght.......i feel totally powerless:(

Good morning everyone!!!

well i am up very early this morning!! why, I dont know,,what for dont know that either, Iam I nuts yeah probably!! LOL, BUT I am going back to bed in a minute or so..I got up to get a drink of milk...and I have not got any!!! WAAAHHHHHHH so i have to go to the shop and get some, thing is I dont know if there are any shops open round here? theres no delis nearby, no servos nearby and my closest shop is actually the major shopping centre 5 mins away..generally very very handy!!
i thought I had another lot in the fridge.. but nope, and also some long life stuff in the pantry,, but after the heatwave I was not game to use it..already opened one lot and peeeyyoooo it was rank LOL so threw the rest out!!
Naji has kept me awake all night..grrrrrr..he has been flicking a bottle cap around, then his ball, then he found a pen lid and a twist tie...thought I had picked everything up..it was dead quiet and 3 am then i hear this marble slowly roll down the hallway, then thump thump thump Naji in hot pursuit..now an 11 kilo cat running down a hallway in a house where there is maily vinyl flooring cept for the bedrooms and wet areas , make a heck of a racket at 3am,,it went quiet ,til there was this huge bump , he had jumped on the bed and was pouncing on my toes..then he proceded to walk on my head and hair and then showed me his bottom,,, like I needed that at then 3.30 am..so I get up and give him food, he gets back on the bed and shows his appreciation by head butting me and purring in my ear,,,
but wait theres more

he then used his litter tray, scratch scratch scratch..then ooohhh Naji thats grosse, he just stunk out the whole house..so I had to get up and clean that out..it was then I discovered I had no milk!!!
LOL it might ne a crazy life...but hey its my life and my cat and I would not change a thing...(well not much anyway) LOL

well i am going back to bed again...

dont feel powerless hon, just do what you feel you can, and just remember sometimes its as good to just listen than to do any physical stuff...try not to stress too much, it may be as upsetting for your friend to see you upset, than her illness stressing her...Did that come out right,,hope so, but if not I hope you know what i am trying to say..

anyways let her know please that she will be in my prayers and as always you too sweetheart!

Good morning all. Yay I am on the net.

Welcome back to those returning. Best wishes to those who are not well or have close ones not well.

It is cool and rainy here but I am loving it. Good day to watch some of the 100+ dvds I brought with me. Oh and the books I have stockpiled. lol

Yesterday was a lovely day and I actually slept in until 10. Unheard of for me. Slept in until 8.30 this morning. Making it a habit. We were to move on but too wet. So will sit it out. Not too worried.

Well woke up feeling carpy today and still sooooo much to do, oh wellonward and upward so they say.

Jen don't feel powerless about your friend, right now she probably just wants to be in control. You are giving her the greatest gift of all through your love friendship and support.

PCT hope you're having fun traveling, you lucky duck lol Sometimes I am so tempted to sell up and travel, maybe one day!!!!
