Hi JVH - you are a good and loyal friend - and when your friend needs help she knows you will be there for her. Thankfully her symptoms are not affecting her life too badly at the present. I expect it will take some time for her to come to terms with her illness and how she wants to fight it. I wish her every ounce of strength to win!

Hiya pjbear missed you last night! Sounds like you didn't get much sleep with naj on the prowl lol! Too bad about the milk - I also keep the long life on supply (I'm not coherent before my coffee in the morning!)

Waves to everyone - very wet here also - OH invited me out for lunch, but frankly the weather was just too awful - so I opted for a 'rain-check' - lol (get it?) - however with all the rain the garden looks simply beautiful (just got the fertilizer down in time).

hey missy,Nope I barely got any sleep last night..grrr.. and I was trying to watch a movie and the phone kept ringing, i think I had about 6 phone calls in the space of 30 mins,,which I love to chat , but sometimes I like a bit of me time!! Do you know what I mean ? well i think I am going to get me some tea...starting to get hungry!!!

Hey everyone thanks heaps for the warm welcome back 🙂 Sweet dreams to you too missnogal. I think I am in for a very long night, still have a heap to do and the deadline is 10.30am in the morning.

Oh well think I'll be having a nana nap in the arvo tomorrow. I'm off taking my special needs princess to her specialist Tuesday so won't be around for a few days. It's quite a long track so thought I would catch up with a friend at the same time.

PJ sorry you had a seedy sleep, I know what that feels like!! But hoping tonight is better for you and you wake up refreshed and feeling a lot better:-x

bella, hope everything goes well for lil miss princess on tuesday..I will be making sure i have a goodnights sleep, got my sleeping tabs ready to go oh and bought 5 litres of milk! I love milk, and will drink it by the bucket full , I am having a late tea again..LOl..didnt feel like cooking or doing the dishes,,so nipped round the corner to the chippie and got a burger,,its nice but nowhere near as nice as the ones I made when i managed the fast food shop!!!Was trying to figure out what was missing and realized it was the BEETROOT,, cant have a burger without beetroot..LOL

well got another funny story for you..it's another one of those A Day in the life of Pauline!!! I got tonnes of these and sadly they are all true!!

I Love beetroot , one day while making a beetroot salad, I decided to drink the beetroot juice, there were 3 big cans, i was helping cater for a Kids camp...so I drank the juice over the course of the day, plus ate lots of beetroot, went home the next day, and went to the loo, umm my wee was bright pink,,it freaked me out ( I did not put 2 and 2 together at the time)I though it was blood so went to the doctors, she did an urinalysis as she was a bit shocked when she saw the colour..she sent it off and rang me later that day and asked me if i had been indulging in beetroot? thats when the penny dropped! LOL..the dr actually said , that she had her suspicions that ,thats what it was..prolly the colour gave it away! she said that the lab technicians thought it very funny!! I was sooooo embarassed...now i know if i am going to over indulge in beetroot I know what to expect!

Hiya pjbear - sorry you didn't get a good sleep. Lol at the beetroot and thanks for the heads up (I love beetroot!) Very good for you - I used to do cleanses with beetroot juice - but oh the mess using the juicer and staining the bench tops!

Good morning all. Well the sun is out and the sky is blue. Bit of a chill in the air. But it is gorgeous. I think I might talk to OH and stay another week. We are not in any great hurry. No need to be back in Melbourne until May. We are housesitting then for a friend.

Going to do the washing and take advantage of the fine day. Well I hope it stays fine. Then off to Smithton to see if we can get a National Parks pass. Hope to catch up with a poster from CS as well.

Still have to go up The Nut so hoping for a lovely clear day to do that.

I was up early this morning a first for me for ages.
I went for a walk to the shops on Saturday and mowed the yard yesterday so I reckon the exercise is doing me good so I plan on going for a walk with the pooch this arvo.
Purps I wish there was a chill in the air up here I had a cold shower at 7am, u would like being in the Military camping out. Pct please point out the nice spots in Tas cause me and PJ are thinking of moving to escape this darn heat, lol.

Jv I am glad yr friend has u I reckon dont begrudge her her bourbon and ciggies it might be the only thing she has in her life so to speak.

Hello everyone thanks for the well wishes, well I passed the saftey check have no idea how we did but I am one happy snap!

I celebrated with fudge cake and coffee at the local cafe lol

Now all I have to do is get my health on track and I will be able to do some more caring for children. I will see the doctor when I get back from my break away.

I've go the plumber coming in to install a new temp regulation gauge (so I can control the temp in the shower) and hand shower for the girls. All while I am away, like it that way lol Then OH gets to deal with it!!!

Anyway hope you are all having a great day 🙂
