Good morning everyone!
Hi JVH so happy to hear you will take it easy today! Congrats. on the 6kg loss - that really is fantastic!
Pjbear thank you so very much for contacting libby - I'm hoping she is off having a wonderful holiday. Hope it's cooler your way today!
Dame welcome home!! Sounds idyllic all that pool/boat cruise - so happy you enjoyed and so happy to see you back!
Regards a depression thread - I think it is a wonderful idea and so thoughtful. In my opinion if it helped even one person back onto the right road (and from venturing down the wrong one) - it would be so worth it! With you at the helm and being so compassionate and sincere I think it would make people feel safe to come in and get support.
Hi bella good luck with those renovations. Hopefully all nice and finished when you return!
Rosie so sorry about your cat. They do become part of the family and it is crushing when we lose them. Hugs to you!
Hope everyone enjoys their Tuesday!

Hi again
Going great guns here - got a lot accomplished today so far!
Dame I expect you do have a lot of catching up to do - it's lovely to go away but there's no place like home! Have a great day!
Kezza I am so proud of you!!!! You have come so far - 'C' will enjoy the beach/swimming lessons so much more than watching t.v. shows and you will benefit with the change of lifestyle too! Washing the car is as good as a walk exercise speaking anyway. You go girl! And absoloutely this thread is here for good days and bad days.
Hi pjbear hope you are having a good day!
My sister from Adelaide and her family are coming over for Xmas to stay with me (my first Xmas home in 3yrs - the last 3 with OH's family in the US) - so I am very excited to have Xmas with my family - particularly after having lost a much loved nephew earlier this year.
Back to the kitchen - have a great day everyone!!

Morning all :-x
Shock horror its raining up here today.
I made a decision awhile ago to get rid of austar my son and I are slaves to it I'm up to midnight watching it some shows I've seen about 3 or 4 times it costs us $160.00 sometimes more and its not value for money they have about 6 new shows a week I watch and quite frankly I cant afford it, my son and I need to go out and do stuff instead of sitting in front of the box. I am thinking of getting Select TV which is $45.00 per month as they dont seem to have many shows on tele after school for C.
I vaccummed and washed my car yesterday so I didnt have time for a walk and I planned on going for a walk this arvo if this rain clears up!!
I'm going to start C on swimming lessons and we will be visiting the beach on sunday mornings for a swim previously we would be up till 4am watching movies, not anymore a new leaf has been turned ๐
Pauline dont worry about the knockers I think their just jealous, lol.
Dame depression thread sounds great I've been welcomed to post my thoughts here no matter how dark and JV is just beaut snakes and all, lol.

oooh jen I hate snakes, I had an encounter with a brown snake about 6 years ago, this was when I was able to walk, we were on a camping trip (me and my friends) and we were going for a walk, and I saw this snake from the corner of my eye, and yelled SNAKE ..well everyone stood still except for ,my friends lil 6 year old boy who got so scared he ran towards the snake, I am not really sure what happened next or why or even how, but when i composed my self I was holding the 6 year old in my arms about 5 metres in front of everyone else, and the snake slithered over my shoes and went on his way,, I tell you I was shaking so much,,I ended up in tears..my friend said that it was as tho I was picked up and placed near her son , she said she didnt even see me run toward him, thelil boy said that he just remembers me picking him up and staring like I was not really there..one of the creepiest things that has ever happened...
missy ,,so glad you have found the motivation to get everything done..
Kezza, thanks for the words of encouragement, just hope that their posts have vanished from here..I am glad you are getting out and about with your young mister..do you have a daughter as well??Missy
.sorry to hear about your nephew,, its sad the first time round....I still have a good cry at Christmas for all those I have lost over the years, the pain and grief fades but the memories don't....
well I am going to try get some sleep, having probs with the narcolepsy lately!!!
