mornin all, just quickly checkin in, b4 going to woolies...grr got up this morning and the pantry was chocka full of ants...so going to either get some spray or an electric insect repellant thingy!!

my wrist is a bit sore , but ok!

I am just so angry and needing a vent atm!!!!!!
My buddy X DIL who I usually do not have a bad word to say about has just totally rocked my socks off today
My son is a very high income earner but also pays huge tax and child support
Child support is roughly $2,500 a month for the 3 children and I do not believe it costs that much to support them, given that the mother works as well.
To cut a long story short he has been transferred to Townsville and she will not put any money in to fly the children up for a week at Christmas, so I hope my grandies really appreciate the $886.00 christmas present from me, sheesh.
Had to pay adult fare for the 3 of them as well.
My son was going to have them train it up and I could not see the 3 children (15,14,12) travel by train for 20 hours.
Not a happy jan at all.
Now I have that outa my system will continue my day lol

Hi everyone!
Finally back home. I didn't realise how much I'd missed the mountains lol

Well went to the doctor, looks like I need a hysterectomy and it appears I may have had a small stroke, but it could also be a migraine that has given similar symptoms; so I'm off to see a neurologist.

I tend to think its merely a migraine that caused the numbness but at least she is being thorough.

Anyway I think its not bad news could have been so much worse!

Onward and upward as the saying goes. The princesses have been good, although the eldest has been extremely anxious of late. I guess its all part n parcel of her condition. I'm looking forward to Christmas and plan on spending a fair bit of time with the girls decorating and enjoying the season!

Oh Dame that sounds very annoying. I don't blame you for venting. Look at the bright side thou, I bet the grandies will love seeing their dad in Townsville.

Dame thats not fair hey.. your DIL IMO shoild pay at least half...$2500 per month is a lot of support... gee, she should well be able to afford to pay for their fares, after all isnt that what the money is for,, to take care of the kids, that inc their emotional well being IMO

Dame how awful regards the DIL - sounds like your son is caught between a rock and a hard place (as far as the children are concerned) and you also (by default). So lovely to see that regardless, you have put the grandies welfare first, which is utomost! How kind and generous of you to step in and how greedy and self-centred of your DIL. No wonder you are upset.

Bella good luck with your further tests - it has been very scary for you and it sounds as though you are in good hands. Do take care and so sorry you have gone through this.
