Good afternoon all!

Hi jvh - hope the shoulder mending well! Regards the chicken pie - pastry is as follows
1.5. cups flour
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sr. cream
couple drops lemon juice

(Easy to combine - then I roll it up in glad wrap and leave it in the fridge until it's 'ready to roll')

Chicken filling (cooked chicken) (I wing it and use whatever else I have on hand - into a simple white sauce). Eg carrot, celery pkt onion soup broccoli etc. Tastes yum (and so easy) every time. I cook the pie dish in the oven on around 180 (after placing onto a baking tray and it usually takes around 40-45 mins.)

Hi dame not long before you get your grandson. Wow Mr Beam really is a handy man and cooks as well!!! Bet the bathroom looks sensational! A very happy and wonderful Easter!

yep i am okay LOl don't post here much anymore, but have had a few emails asking if I am in ebali,LOl... but I go for my op on Tuesday (unless they cancel again) I am a bit scared cos one never knows the results when tumours are removed, but hey with th eGrace of God i should be alright, its gonna be a quiet easter for me, don't celebreate easter myself, as I myself I choose to be thankful for what jesus did for us everyday, not just once a year ,IYKWIM, not saying thats what everyone does but I guess that you get the small minority that only worship twice a year???

hope you are well and have a wonderful Easter break, don't eat too many chockies will ya, tomorrow I am gonna eat some hot x buns for brekky..yummo..

Had a quiet day - our son came over and we sat on the balcony and ate prawns with crusty bread. Watched the start of the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht race - took some pics so if they are any good when I download them I will post them.

I had no idea it was tumors when you referred to your op pjbear - makes me feel worse that it is still not over and done with for you. However on the other hand I honestly believe (and was told by my friend who was in charge of day ward at a large hospital) that Drs. have a very good idea regards tumors even before they operate - and I am very sure your dr. would not keep delaying your surgery if he was concerned.
In any event, best wishes and many hopes you can get this out of the way and move happily on after Tuesday and my easter wish is for better health for you going forward (( hugs))!!

Yes Bear the old boy is still playing golf but cant no longer play with my arm cant swing the ball and as he wont get a buggy im not up to walking 18 holes these days.........hoping you have a really nice Easter:)

Gooooooooooooooood morning all and another day dawns looks like yet another hot one again 😞

Not much happening to day am certainly not going to the shops:).........wonder why so many people are in such a mad rush over this break.........the Coast is as per usual full to the rafters.........Coolangatta is a no go zone during times like this for me....cant handle all the crowds lol

I had planned to go to the Twilight markets last night here and could not get a parking spot for miles, so that put paid to that lil excursion:(
Going shopping today to make sure the fridge is stocked up with all the boys favorite treats, only one more sleep till he comes:)
