Gooooooooooooooood morning all from the Goldie and at least dont have to water the gardens today.........boy have we had some serious rain in the last few hours...........the creek is up at the back doesnt take much to get a rise out of it.

Was going to go and have a wander around the shops today but might just take it easy until this rain eases

Off out for a while. Getting that mammogram done.

Dinner at a friend's tonight then at my nephew's tomorrow night.

purps naughty girl forgetting ya pills, bingo, gosh i use to go with my sister an mum all the time, we use to have fun together, but them days are gone, anyhoot............

Dame and Rosie, gosh some people I dont know, cant have ya say, or is it others can but if you do and they dont like it, then ya off, never mind, all will be good, wishing them both lots of love and lighting a candle for both. xxxxxxxxx


It is breezy here sun is out and warm, it will get cold for sure, rain due sometime today so they say, i like sitting next to the heater but i love to sit out in the warmth as well, sunny days, miss em heaps

Zaid hope you are having a nice day........and lunch sounds like the way to go.....got a great place on the river that does great steaks for lunch about 15.00 per head........the steaks are to die for ...........if you guys are into steaks.

Sorry bout yesterday it was one of those days. Still onward and upwards as they say 😉

I'm a bit discouraged I am on light duties 😞 But hoping that there is some improvement. If not I think I will insist on having an x-ray to see what the damage actually is.

Thank God for an awesome family that help me through and have been there every step of the way.

JV you shouldn't have let on you sew, I'll remember that when I have questions to ask lol ]:)

I am hoping to get a few projects done soon! Anyway better get back to RL and get some dinner.

Hello Everyone
Just passing through and noticed you had a BIG BIRTHDAY JVH!!!!
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO YOU!:-x
Hope it was a really good one. (I'm only 1 year behind you! LOL)
I finally bit the bullet and had my dear old Scatty cat put down a couple of weeks ago.:-( He was sooooo sick his last few days and when the vet came he said it was obviously some kind of cancer.
I'm very pleased I made the right decision not to subject the old darling to a car trip to the vet, and stress him out!
And he died purring on my bed wrapped in his favourite blanket. I miss him terribly, especially at 6am and 6pm - feeding time! and when I get home from work.:-(
Anyhow life goes on, and Scatty lives in my memory and in my internet persona!
Now that I have absolutely NO responsibilities I am busily planning holidays.:-D
Anzac weekend I went to Port Douglas! Just pressed the Virgin Blue holiday specials one night and voila! off I went for 3 days in PD. Had a balloon flight, saw the Daintree and visited the most wonderful wildlife park - had breakfast with the birds, and then stayed most of the day! The picture of me with a koala is a beautiful picture of the koala!LOL
They want me to work lots in Coff's Harbour the next couple of months, so once a month I am taking time off from my other work and making a 4 day weekend of it! Just hanging around Coff's later in May, but visiting Armidale (relatives), Dorrigo, Bellingen etc mid June! I expect it will be cold - grrrrr!!!!;-)
Stayed Sunday night in Sydney to attend the most wonderful wake for my dear friend Alistair Hulett (Scottish folk singer of "Roaring Jack" fame - Celtic punk/folk at it's best!!!). Some of you may remember him? It was lovely to meet his parents and see his partner dancing away her grief to all his best music! Got a little tipsy myself ]:)and sang along with all the songs with great gusto!:O
In fact, I am becoming quite the social butterfly!:-p
Anyway, enough of my boasting! I'm a lucky woman to earn enough to be able to do these things! (PS I am a confirmed "out of season" traveller - it's lots cheaper, there are no crowds, and everyone bends over backwards to make you happy! - they're so pleased to have you help them earn a living!)B-)

oh scatty, just lit another candle and said a little pray for scatty cat, glad to see yur enjoying your life, so you should, what fun it is to travel and do the things you wouldnt do usually.

Have great holidays in the future and your right about off peak holidaying people do appreciate you being there for them to have a job.
