Good afternoon to the thread:)
No water restrictions here atm that I am aware of miss, as we are lucky with heaps of water, but at times we have had water restrictions in place.

I have been busy in the kitchen this morning, making some casseroles to take to my seniors, I am not the best cook in the world, but they seem to like my offerings:)
Tis a tad cool my way, time to get the real winter woolies out but the days are nice apart from the wind:)

JV still hoping your OH's blood pressure settles down. My OH is going to the Docs tomorrow for the exact same reason but hoping its not to bigger deal for him this time. He's had issues on and off now for years with it.

Hi Bella and do hope that your OHs BP can too be bought under control........am finding that with the OHs the addition of a BP meds with a light diruetic has bought it down.......still now where it should be but is getting better............its such a worry and is such a silent health issue:(

Dame great to see you also and hope all the stuff to do with your Mumma and step dad is as good as can be expected.......dammed tough stuff nursing a person with dementia..in some ways just like looking after a kiddie that one cant reason with:(.............and yes it does knock the stuffing out of you.

Zaid the new house and garden sounds magic and yes is dreadfully tiring moving.

Miss always fab to see you about as well........hope the OHs gout isnt playing up to much........the doctor has put the OH on a combination of a BP med that also has a diruetic mild attached to it.........so far out of all the stuff that seems to be working the best........thankfully still not right down but certainly a whole lot better.

Thinking of you all......sitting out on the patio and looking out across the little bay.....took the OH to the Par 3 course and he had a whack of golf this am..........was like a kid with a new toy............good to see a smile on his face once more........its lovely and relaxing here and the bird life in the early ams is devine.............lots of rainbow lorikeets.

hey all, well it's day 5 since my op, and boy did I get post op depression on Sunday..think I cried most of the day.... I took the patch off today when i had to bathe the eye area and had my first look, its awful,, I just want to cry..i still have prolly 6 weeks b4 I get my prothsesis....But hey the doctors and God have not given up on me, so i am not giving up on me either!!!

LOL jv, hey for a joke nick down to K-Mart and replace all of your Oh's golf balls with bright pink ones..LOL what a lark... I can see his face now...

Just wanted to thank those that have sent get well wishes and positive thoughts ..they are soooo appreciated... well its almost bedtime, and i still have a boatload of stuff to do!!

PJbear it is only natural to feel on a downer after hospital release and especially with all you have gone through. Think you are very brave and admire your great sense of humor in all of your adversity. Hang in there positively - it will help you to mend quicker!! (())

Lol Miss am pulling my hair out with this connection is so much slower than home........yes the OH is totally enjoying the peace and calm..........and just being switched off totally............and has been busy planning more holidays:)
