Good morning all!

Hi JVH thank goodness they caught the sniper! Feeling so badly for the poor guy in a coma - just disgusting! Yes was that neice took her with me to see her cousins. Think they should have had warning signs out - feeling much better today and my neice was fine last night making gingerbread men for Santa with her ma!

Back to preparing the house for guests and xmas lunch. OH will be home tonight - the syd. hospital rang him yesterday as he hadn't yet gone back for his test results and they indicated one of them had come back very high (?) so he was going last night after we spoke! Haven't heard from him yet just hope it went ok.

Big waves and great wishes to everyone for a wonderful xmas eve!

Geez hope its good news...........and i thought it might have been the little one that had been ill..........thank god she is ok...........bet you felt sick to the pit of your stomach thinking about it:(

Good they got that sniper but terrible for the injured man but at least he is alive, his family must be happy to still have him with them.

Hi Beani yes its his 43rd birthday today...the patient i mean and left south africa to come here with his family for a better life..........and cant believe that the bullet went 350 meters seems extrodinary to put it mildly from a hand gun.............the sniper was taking pot shots after a coke induced frenzy...........but lets hope the police can and do throw the book fair and square at him and it hits:)

Hi everyone and a Merry Christmas:)

I think today has been one of the worst christmases of my life, I went to the home to have lunch with my stepdad after I had prepared everything at home for my Mum, sister and her family and my friend, I could not eat the christmas lunch that I paid $35.00 for it was not the best lol in fact after they reheated it as it was stone cold, I politely told them that I do not usually complain about anything but it was crap and to me it was, my step dad left his too lol
I then went home picked my Mum up and took her to the home to visit and he had not even remembered I had been there with him for lunch 😞
My daughter and grandson did not come up as the weather is too bad, so I have spent a lot of the day crying sheesh but tomorrow is gonna be better:)
I do hope everyone else had a good day♥

Oh Dame I'm sorry you didn't get to spend time with your DD and grandson 😞 Hopefully you'll be able to catch up for New Year. I wish I could just give you a big HUG, its rough when the day doesn't go to plan.

Remember to be kind to yourself and take care of you. You are an amazing lady, I sit here and read your posts and see the compassion you have in your heart toward others and it blows me away. I wish there were more people in the world like you:-x
