Hi jvh heard a snippet re another earthquake in Christchurch? Hoping all your family are ok!

Pjbear ((hugs)) was hoping hard for you that you would be home for xmas! Hope your treatments going well and you are feeling better - welcome back! (Have house guests atm and a lot going on but will pm you when I can).

Bella how are the preparations going? Thank you for good wishes - OH's cellulitis still bad and they are now worried about lung blood clots (they already checked his legs wish they had just done it all at that time) - he is going to the hospital in sydney today. He is fine in himself just really busy.

Dame not long to go before we can wish you a sincere happy new year after such a struggle through this one ((hugs)).

Beani hope you are ok too and ditto to our zaideelady!

Big waves just rushing through - have houseguests and OH gone back to Sydney so it's just me looking after them. Been on the go since 6am xmas morn when my neice rang to say she would wait for me to get there before she opened even one present - was so touched - got there as quickly as I could! My bro gave me an Iphone 4!!!!!! (in appreciation for everything I do for my neice and nephew) - couldn't believe it!

I'm so tired lol hope to bbl - have a great day!

Oh geez girl you must be running on adrenlin.........lets hope the OH health issues get sorted..........shame in one way to be so busy that he cant take a little time off to get it all sorted etc.........what a marvellous gift from your brother.........will you need a degree to drive it ........im as hopeless as whatever with stuff like that..........think i had a big bit left out of the brain department in solving tech issues:)

And yes Aunt and Uncle are ok thank goodness.....

I am today taking a good hard long look at myself and I have decided I am not as bad off as I think and 2011 will be a much better year:)

Hi everyone, waving !!!

A big hug to all those doing it tough, whatever the reason.

We went out to dinner with friends last night. I actually lasted the distance really well. Then we all came back here for my berry sponge cake with whipped cream and custard.

Today I made more pizza, Mr Beani loves my puff pastry creation then something got into me and I went into a further baking frenzy and made an apple pie. I almost never bake. But once that apple and vanilla sugar fragrance hit the air.... YUM!

Shatzi is back to normal, wanting to play all the time. So thats a relief. It would have been hard to get a vet over the public hols.

Hope you are all okay, no matter where you are.

I guess everything changes sometimes drastically and with no warning..........im sure that you are very worried about your Mumma as well and we hate to see them getting frail.........hope you can sort a solution that you are both content and happy about:)

Goooooooooood morning all:) well still raining here but has eased so maybe we may get part of a dry day in..........predicting some more flooding in Brissie later...........we most certainly have some serious rain over the last week.

Good afternoon to the thread from the wet Fraser Coast:(
Well we are officially cut off from leaving the bay as the police have cordoned off the susan river area as water is over the bridge and Torbanlea is also cut so we have no way out.
I am so pleased that we decided my daughter and grandie would not come up as they would not have got back to Brisbane in time for work tomorrow.
I have never seen so much water in my back yard and there are quite a few streets cut off that we have to go other ways so best thing to do is stay home.
