Hi Miss and we are getting there.............most of the painting finished..........new carpet down.........blinds go up in a week.........went for the brushed silver venetian .....men still working on the bathroom tiles go ontomorrow............grouting getting done sunday and we are getting the house in reasonable shape........we are both very tired both too old for this caper lol

Yes lousy news about Beani poor thing shes had a very rough life with her health

Been to obedience school - about to head out to the shopping centre to look for a gift (male - 21st) - party next weekend. Week after I get my niece (full time for a bit)

And yes been so busy trying to get the house looking like super nice lol  Put in some more hibiscus they just love love the soil here so just may as well have something in that thrives lol

Hi JVH love hibiscus so pretty. Have the purple variety outside one of the windows adds lovely color and low maintenance. Cut the roses back too early they are back lol. Such unpredictable weather.

OH wanted to go out for lunch but we left it too late. Will go to the dog park this afternoon if it is still dry. Just ordered next weeks lite n easy lol. Had roast lamb last night was quite impressed!

Hi Miss and yes lots of hibiscus ...............boyds bay garden world has 3 advanced for 20.00 in some of thier own special breed...........one called Gold Coast City is a vibrant acid orange.................looks a knockout...........put in a Tarantella some years ago with lots of blood and bone i have had blooms 10.5 inches across you read right.

Still so much to do and had to help the neighbours last night when their old dog passed am totally shattered over it all:(

So sorry about your neighbors dog JVH - really awful to hear was nice of you to be there for them at such a sad time.  Very draining all round - like a little furry family member.  Hope you and your neighbors are ok - I know this takes a long time.

Havent seen the orange variety hibiscus sounds so beautiful and fresh. 

Storms here - too wicked to venture out in.

Its a real saffron orange colour boyds bay grow and propegate their own  If you want a super showy hibiscus tarantella is a knock out the blooms will go to 10-11 inches across with frequent blood and bone they do love a lot of water as well

Yes shattered by the loss of the little darling animal lovers tend to get very attached to the fur babies.

Evening all,

Weighed in at my Doc's on Wednesday and was 113.8 I weighed 1.8 kilos less on another set of scales scales do that but, lol.  doc wants me to get down to 90kg I would like to get to 70kg but I like her numbers better, lol.

Rode and walked my bike on Saturday (got a wider seat) went well burnt 870 calories bum went well but I will still get the gel seat cover for extra comfort.  I was knackered when I got home.

Go for my blood test on the 8th of May so I am crossing everything I will be in the non-diabetic level.

Dr was concerned about my nails i have bitten them down to the whites nearly she said to get acrylic nails put on to deter the biting dunno if they will even put them on their so short have not bitten for a while as I read that yr nails have nail worms in them dunno if its true but its put me off biting them, lol.

Jen love yr hibicus agree with you re anna bligh cant stand newman and our new local members all lnp are a bunch of tossers lets hope they get tossed out of office pronto cant stand going back to the Jo years.

C's b'day today the big 14 bought him a b'day cake he has a new bike, helmet and lock and nearly $150 cash. 🙂

Hi JVH thank you so MUCH for going to the trouble of posting the beautiful hibiscus - it is amazing - had no idea!!  Truly beautiful! 

Sadly just discovered the young man who perished on the jet ski accident weekend last in Qld was the best friend of my neice's boyfriend (my neice and her boyfriend were actually present) and naturally distraught.  Unimaginable for the family - the boys father was also present.

Hi kezza you always believe the 'good scales' lol  Happy birthday to C  and so happy you are getting so fit!!!  Glad the more comfortable bike seat is better and every best luck with the dr. and blood work!!  Think you are doing awesome!! 

Pouring here - going to hail too so not going to venture out!  Postponed the trek to the country to see the baby until Sunday.
