Hi JVH yes and thank you! I'm more paranoid with the little one having no ballistrade and a 2 storey drop around half the house - so I was really on guard lol!
Hope the tradies did a good job! I had my neice here this afternoon - back to school tomorrow - her appt. end of the week.
Wish I could take a day and spend it it bed lol - feel like I need one!

Kezza it's all sounding so far so good and getting there to get it over with. Glad you didn't get a call back - always a good sign. Hope you get the surgeon appt really quickly! Waiting is horrible! Was thinking of you on the weekend hoping you managed some enjoyment during it to take your mind off it even a little bit!

Great photo JVH - Absoloutely beautiful flower - lovely for Kezza too - thank you for posting!
Sadly due to insurance dispute we have been ordered to stop our repairs pending final outcome of dispute! (We undertook ourselves due to waiting now 18months for them) - we had no choice it was literally raining in the bedrooms. It is truly disgusting on their part! Not only the balcony/ballistrade issue - but the damage resulting downstairs underneath the balcony (3 bedrooms and a living area affected) - I have 4 massive holes they cut out of my bedroom ceiling (to ascertain where leak was coming in) - with exposed wires etc. I'm so over it lol! Considering it was approved and excess paid 18 months back (genuine storm damage - many houses in my street were damaged too - one of my neighbors in the street behind us actually lost their roof (same storm).
Oh well - frustrating is all!

Hey Kezza thinking of you and hoping everything progressing well (and quickly)!! Also hope C is doing ok!!

Oh geez Miss cant imagine the mess your home must be in what with these insurance ogres.......you know aunt and uncles home in ChCh is still not repaired you read right and now the Earthquake Commission and the insurance want them to take a payout and sort out all the tradies themselves..........can you imagine at 80 years of age trying to do that .............am so livid over it and they are both so upset.

Can imagine how much damage is being done to your home and how dammed cold it all must be with all the holes etc etc.......but those companies are renowned for being little hitlers:(

About to head out for a big shopping day. One of my sisters birthday on the weekend so planning a drive to the country then.

JVH so sorry for your aunt and uncle! I can really understand and their situation so much worse than ours! At least we stopped the leaking before they made us stop repairing - internal leaking was the biggest problem.

Kezza just 2 more days before your appt! Glad it's this week so you don't have to wait through another weekend! Sending hugs!

Miss so what happens now with the insurance.......or has that reached an impasse or is the next course a visit to the solicitor......you really wonder sometimes why one takes out insurance as one can bet its going to be a big hassle come claim time

Hi JVH don't blame you one bit re the tradies lol! At least they showed up - that's always a plus!
Our dispute is currently in arbitration - a seemingly never ending process! We did come out ahead in round one - round two still in progress. To be honest I just want my house fixed - and we are now not even allowed to finish fixing it with our own money - or we negate the claim. Biggest laugh of all was contact from the Ins. Co. a couple weeks ago saying they had no record of the claim - could we wipe the slate and start from scratch- (It's been in arbitration for about a year now!) - dealing with imbeciles!

Hi Kezza big day tomorrow - will be thinking of you in the morning and sending positive vibes for a positive appointment! I'm hoping after that you can have a more relaxing weekend!!!

Oh geez re insurance companies they can be the pits but in saying that one of my mothers insurance policies was one of the first things to be sorted when we started on the estate.......so i guess not all are in the imbecile state yet lol, hoping that the issue is sorted super quickly

JVH glad your dear mums ins. was easily sorted at that time as you had enough to deal with. I'm guessing it was a different co. to ours (ours is the one who doesn't keep her promises lol). Hope your day is going well!

Talk about black Friday - my bro was in a car accident (he's fine - car is not) - Neices hospital appt. postponed till month end!!!/ OH was meant to be working in Sydney next week - postponed till following week/Gardner cancelled/painter cancelled. I'm just over today - had a shower and put my comfies on and that's me for the day!

Kezza hope all is going well for you hon - thinking of you - will check fb later for any updates! Fingers crossed all went smoothly!
